Great old school Florida motel. Super clean and well maintained. The location is perfect for a visit to Dunedin, especially if you plan on using the trail.

I love Amberlee Motel. My husband is from Dunedin and when he is here, he always stays at Amberlee Motel. He calls it "The Last Mom and Pop Hotel in Florida". It still retains that "Old Florida" flavor. I have been here for three weeks and have nothing negative to say. The rooms are clean, the staff is more than helpful and everything is within walking distance . . . the marina, restaurants, bars, anything you might need. This will be our "go-to" hotel whenever in Dunedin. Thank you Amberlee Hotel for making my stay so pleasant.

Great little old Florida type motel! Very clean, with a comfortable bed. It has a cute little kitchen and stove with dishes and silverware. You must bring your own coffee and food supplies. The owners are very nice! It is close to the Pinellas trail for bike riding and walking. A very easy walk to restaurants and shops. It is very reasonably priced. I hope to be able to stay here again some day.|

This is a no frills drive up old Florida style motel. Room was very clean and I would definitely stay here again. I enjoyed seeing the nice tile work in the small old bathroom. They just don’t do them that nice anymore. Bed was comfortable and the hum of the wall a/c blocked out any outside noise.

Old Florida motel with a fresh coat of paint. It is kept very clean in the rooms and the front of the property. The pool area next to the Pinellas Trail...not so much. My rate was $113/day during the off-season. I stayed only because I needed the location. In the room I had, the window a/c unit struggled to keep up with the mid-80s afternoon temps, and it's so loud on all settings that you're going to have to turn it off to watch tv. Cable went in and out, wi-fi is all but non-existent. You will listen to the road traffic all day and night, though. All furnishings are far from new, including the mattress. Staff are not on site, so instead you have to call and arrange for someone to come in. Water fixtures squeak and the pipes sometimes squeal. If you're large, you're not going to take a shower because the stall is extremely narrow. That said, if all you're looking only for a place near downtown and nothing else, then this is a place to consider. Maybe consider this place for Spring Break or if you're an Old Florida nostalgic type. There are better hotels near Mainstreet Dunedin for the same $$.

We have now stayed at the Amberlee 3 times over the past few years. First time we loved it, second time it seemed like they were kind of letting the place slide a bit, and this third time (April 2022) it was first-rate once again. This is an "old-school" Florida motel, with pastel toilets and sinks in the bathroom, and funky mis-matched decor, but it is immaculately clean, and rather charming. The pool was clean, and there were plenty of lounge chairs. The kitchenette had plates, cups and silverware; bring your own dish soap and (of course) food. I was a bit surprised to find no pots or pans, but when I asked for them, the clerk brought them to our room within 5 minutes. The slightly-overzealous refrigerator froze all our eggs solid, but the electric stove worked just fine. The bed was comfortable enough. The other guests seemed like nice folks -- no noisy party people. If you usually stay at high-end hotels, you will find a lot to complain about here, but if you appreciate a clean budget motel, this is the place to go.

An older and somewhat rustic establishment. Family run owners are beyond wonderful. Put yourself into this older style motel and enjoy all that wonderful Dunedin has to offer. Motel abuts the wonderful Pinellas Trail. In Dunedin everything is walkable. Do get a bicycle and enjoy the totally pedestrian trail. We ride for 10 minutes and we're at the Blue Jays stadium! Motel features efficiencies and a lovely pool at the back of the property. Many many repeat customers. Don't let looks fool you. Owners bend over backwards to ensure your stay is comfortable. Folks that stay here are great to mix and mingle with.
