We'll be back! A gift card introduced us to Amarone. The staff were attentive, the atmosphere was very inviting, the decor was tasteful, and then the best part. The food was so good!
We started with bruschetta and a caesar salad. The bruschetta had three types on one plate. It was all very good, but the pesto was our favorite. The dressing on the salad was tasty.
My wife had halibut on risotto. Light and flaky fish, wonderful flavor, and the risotto was creamy and sumptuous.
I had the ravioli and beef short ribs. The meat was so tender and flavorful, the mushroom sauce was savory over the ravioli!
We couldn't leave without trying the desert. The canoli is a can't miss. It's house made and delicious. We also had the Nutella cheesecake. Such a simple addition, but it's totally a game changer.
Everything was wonderful!
Only draw back, it was a little pricey....
Amarone is a very nice upscale Italian restaurant with a feeling of being in a posh Tuscan winery, perfect for a romantic date night! There’s a large fireplace in the seating area as well as fire pit on the outside as you exit. The service was great and our food arrived quickly. The food was sooooo delicious and flavorful and then we were served complimentary Moscato that tasted awful!! It had an extremely musty smell and flavor!! Worst moscato ever! The water is not filtered even-though the staff stated it was, maybe the filter needs to be changed. There was 2 desserts from the menu that weren’t available. On a lighter note there’s a nice seating area before entering the bathrooms-the chairs looked very worn but I’m guessing they are vintage. Overall I like this restaurant and wouldn’t mind coming back!
It was Phenomenal. Unique pairings of flavors. Fresh pasta was perfectly cooked. Portions are giving for Gourmet.
This is Not your Down the road Italian spot so come with an open mind & prepare to be completely satisfied.
Also don’t come with flat pockets this place is worth every penny.
My dining experience Amarone was absolutely exceptional. The combination of the perfectly cooked NY Strip steak and the delicate lobster ravioli, bathed in a rich and creamy tomato sauce, was a culinary masterpiece.
Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that left me craving more. This was a dining experience I won't soon forget.
Amarone is a perfect choice if you wanna have Italian food. Every dish burst with flavor, and you could taste the quality ingredients in every bite. The chefs' dedication to using fresh produce truly elevated the dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic Italian culinary journey!
I went to Amarone Ristorante and Bar recently with my friends. It was a great experience for me, I can say that was a nice time with nice friends in the nice restaurant. My wife loves the Italian foods so much, and I will bring her here later on her birthday. I heard that there are some special gift for everyone in the special day. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Date night at Amarone in Issaquah Highlands. Italian dinner, Italian wine, Italian Grappa with the owner, Fernando! Very fancy, yet very comfortable. We had an outdoor patio table. Now at the bar listening to Tony La Stella, Italian folk singer and performer. Wonderful evening! I enjoyed delicious halibut served over truffle risotto and husband enjoyed spicy sausage pasta! Delicioso!
Amarone is a great choice for a special night out. Atmosphere is cozy and clean and chic. Menu has a pasta dish for anyone. Pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked, and sauces are flavorful.
The service was also terrific - cocktails arrived quickly. My friend was able to substitute salad for pasta in keeping with his keto diet.
The only criticism I have is the live music, while a great thing to have, was too loud. We were unable to hear each other over the singing, and we really wanted to talk and catch up. We had to shout to hear each other and after trying this we just gave up and waited the 20 odd minutes for the singer to take a break before we could resume and speak comfortably with each other. This was disruptive enough for me to deduct a star.
