This is a beautiful resort with excellent service and a first class spa, definitely a great place to stay when visiting Sedona. We stayed here for 3 nights in January and had a wonderful time. Our room (red rocks view) was large and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and there was a seating area to relax and read a book and a desk and chair so you could use your computer or plot out your hikes. Our room had balcony with chairs that allowed you to take in the majestic view of the Sedona Red Rocks. Salt Creek Grill, the in house restaurant, has a classy bar where you can get excellent cocktails, we also enjoyed a tasty lunch there. There is jacuzzi to relax in and the infinity pool overlooks the picturesque creek - a tranquil and mesmerizing view. You can also hangout and enjoy the outoodr firepits and cornhole, fun especially if you're with friends.|The top notch service starts from before you even arrive at Amara. Two or three weeks before our visit, we were contacted by a concierge, who helped us with booking a jeep tour, recommended restaurants and connected us to the spa. While on site, the valets warmly welcome you from the start. They take of your car and can give you a ride up the hill to get to the main street. (The resort is down a steep hill, which is actually nice as it keeps you off the commercial main drag.) We forgot something in the car and they gladly got it for us. The front desk staff is excellent and helpful. They quickly took care of a very minor issue in our room and also quickly responded to change out our comforter when we accidentally spilled our water bottle on it.|I really liked the location, I think they call this uptown Sedona. There are lots of shops and restaurants, but it's not the two lane each way road that is the main area of Sedona. As mentioned above, the resort is nestled by the creek at the bottom of the hill, so you don't even feel like you're in the midst of that shopping area.|Lastly, I wanted to mention the spa - we had massage and prickly pear scrubs - some of the most relaxing spa experience where we also received fantastic service.|I highly recommend this resort and would stay here again.|I just want to note that the pictures on their website do not do it justice, the resort and setting is more beautiful then the website shows.
The resort is first class. Great location and beautiful rooms. The spa is amazing. I had the best massage ever. The Therapist name is Sky. I highly recommend requesting him as he is a real professional that knows what he is doing. He removed my stress and completely relaxed my sore and tight muscles.
Right in the middle of downtown Sedona and they offer free valet parking. Beautiful views and the restaurant in the hotel was good too! If you don’t want to walk up the hill to the Main Street the valet service also offers a free golf cart ride up. Came for our honeymoon and didn’t expect the excellent service and amenities. First time I’ve stayed here and I’ve been to Sedona multiple times a year. I’ll definitely stay again.
The location was very convenient to walking around the shopping district of Sedona. The front desk and valet staff were professional and friendly. We received a room upgrade at check-in and were greeted to chilled champagne in our room. Julianna, who works evening shift on the front desk placed our dinner order over the phone as we would have arrived after the kitchen was closed. She was polite and very informative and went out of her way to ensure a smooth check in. The spa was decent, but not the best and requires a 22% gratuity. The spa therapist and receptionist and were friendly and professional. I was disappointed that the men's steam room was freezing cold and hadn't been run all day, which meant it was unavailable for use beforehand. Over I would recommend staying here and would stay at Amara again.
Location, bedding, and amenities were all terrific. Will definitely be back. Incredibly accommodating staff. Just a terrific experience, which is rare anymore. Recent updates/remodel were tastefully done. We booked the patio King suite. The balcony was smaller than expected, but certainly did not deter from the overall experience. Highly recommend.
It was perfect for our girls trip. The place is really nice, just as the reviews claims. The rooms are clean and decor is beautiful. The restaurant is great, food was delicious. We really enjoyed the spa as well. I will definitely recommend Amara.
We had an amazing experience at this resort! Centrally located, attentive staff, excellent restaurants with the best craft cocktails, and a gorgeous view every day. Be sure and check out the creek area, which is so peaceful. Loved the spa and the night time activities. Pool and hot tub were perfect, even in November. Will definitely return!
This hotel is an absolute dream. We had a large suite with an adjoining bedroom attached over looking the creek with three separate balconies. I cannot say enough about this hotel. They have a beautiful hidden creek with an amazing swing that will go down in history as one of my most relaxing vacation moments. The infinity pool with gorgeous views was absolutely breathtaking. Service and friendliness was top notch. Our two daughters had a blast. I can’t wait to come back. Top ten favorite hotels we have ever stayed at. Thank you Amara.

Very neat, clean place with a good ambience to dine in. Their burgers are very tasty. It tasted way different than any burgers I had before. More buttery, cheesy, crispy in a very good way, I guess. Reasonable prices compared to other eateries in Sed
One of the best chicken fast food outlets I've ever been to. I hadn't heard of Jay Bird's but it was local. Polite service, had to wait a few minutes for order but it was served fresh. Really tasty crinkle fries, and the chicken burger (huge!) was re
