If you’re looking for a quaint and scrumptious place for to eat exceptional Mediterranean food with indoor and outdoor seating then come to Amar Mediterranean Bistro. Food: The food was delicious and their portions match their price. I was happy with the hummus I ate as it tasted very fresh and the naan was fresh as well. The chicken was perfectly seasoned as well. Atmosphere: This is a cute smaller place with a good amount of indoor seating and limited seating. It does get loud if you sit inside. The waitresses were also kind to us. Price: The prices here are fairly normal for the prices of restaurants on the avenue. I also believe they have happy hour deals and on Tuesdays they have 50% off their bottle wines at the time I’m writing this review as we know restaurants can change things. Parking: There is street parking available in the area or a garage by the delray beach marketplace and you have to pay for both when you park.

Stopped in for a quick bite while walking down the boulevard. Ordered a mixed grill sampler plate for two. Plenty of food for at least three people! Service was excellent. Food was amazing. As usual, Amar is never a disappointment.

My husband and I are completely obsessed with the food at Amar! We’ve been here 3 weeks in a row. The service is great. The food, oh my gosh. So amazing! You can tell the food is so fresh and clean. They have one of the best hummus. I get the Sauvignon blanc and it’s been one of my favorite wines to order. We get the mixed platter with the variety of meats and an added side of vegetables. I highly recommend! Oh and the fries are so delicious! 11/10 we can’t wait to come back.

This is small and quaint spot for a great meats, lentils and middle Eastern dishes. Our found came out piping hot and was terrific, and didn't feel heavy, when done. Hot mint tea went well with the meal.

What a lovely place right on Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray. Inside is a warm and cozy environment with welcoming vibes. The food is delicious and very accommodating to many different diets. My favorite dish is the Arnabeet Mekle, a delicious combination of cauliflower, tahini, almonds, raisins, and an array of spices, recommended to me by a very kind, and patient, server named Sara. Another dish I recommend is the Muhammara, a spread similar to hummus, with roasted red pepper, walnuts, and pomegranate molasses. A must try. If you’re a foodie like me, you’re going to love this place.

4-Star Service Worthy of a Try! This was my first visit to Amar Mediterranean Bistro. It's a small quaint restaurant with a nice ambiance. The kitchen is open so you can actually see all the cooking. The restaurant itself is a bit noisy and crowded so don't expect a romantic conversation. Haha Our waitress Nicole was A+. Not only was she seating the guests, but she was also taking table orders. She was very nice and pleasant. They have a wide variety of vegan options which were great for me since I'm vegan. I had the Falafel and Fried cauliflower for my appetizers. For my main dish, I had the Eggplant with Chickpeas, onions, and tomatoes. The eggplant was not my favorite, however, it was my first time trying it, so I'm not sure how it was supposed to taste. I didn't care for the texture of it. Overall I would give Amar Mediterranean Bistro 4-Stars. This place is definitely worth a try if you're in Palm Beach County!

I took a bet going somewhere new to us, and brought my family here as they were visiting from NY & my husband and I wanted to bring them somewhere they had not been. We are so grateful we did as the food was UNBELIEVABLY delicious and unique. We got a LOT of different dishes so we were truly able to experience a good amount of the menu, and not one dish disappointed. Extremely flavorful and generously portioned. Not only was the food incredible, but our service from Amber was outstanding. Amber was attentive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. She truly was the cherry on top of the experience. We can’t wait to bring other friends and family to not only experience the food, but we look forward to having Amber as our server in the future.

My wife and I recently went for a date to this place, and it was literally one of the best meals I’ve had in years. I haven’t had Mediterranean food this good since I was actually in the Mediterranean. The food was so good I was getting emotional, as I hadn’t experienced the wonderful tastes and smells of the dishes there since I was in the Mediterranean almost six years ago. Everything we ate—from the pita bread that we watched them bake fresh, to the hummus, to the labneh, to the falafel, to the (unreasonably good) fries, to our chicken and lamb entrees, were excellent, and we loved every bite of it all. We also want to brag on our waitress, Sarah, who was very friendly and helpful, and seemed to know exactly what we needed before even we did. It’s become my new favorite restaurant, and we can’t wait to go back!
