Staying here from Minnesota this week, and while we have plenty of sushi restaurants in Minnesota, I suspect that California has better places than we do. This place was close to our hotel and Google maps recommended it highly. We were greeted warmly upon coming in, and the service was very fast. The sushi is the star here! Very fresh and buttery cuts of fish here and well presented. They use real wasabi here too, something I'm not used to back home. My partner is not a sushi fan so he had salmon teriyaki. It was also delicious. The prices here are very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place. I will be dreaming about it when I get back to Minnesota.
I have been a few times and their quality has been consistently good. Their Omakase is about 42 bucks and the portions were big enough to make another sushi. We also ordered Sushi deluxe with rock and roll to compare Omakase. It's great but it's not as good as Omakase. On top of those sushi, I usually ordered unagi lovers. Too bad they don't have unagi donbori. I have been to many sushi places that were owned by Chinese or Korean, which they don't satisfy me, this place does.
Amami sushi is my go to place whenever I’m craving sushi. Their quality is always consistent and I have not been disappointed! I always order the chirashi bowl and the fish is always so fresh and buttery. I don’t know what wasabi they use but it makes a big difference from the usual dry wasabi used at other sushi places. The portion size is also pretty good and the service is excellent. Would highly recommend!
Had one of the best sushi meals in a very long time. Don't let the quaint cozy setting deter you from the amazing sushi and sashimi. Hamachi kama was a good portion, warm and flavorful ($12.50). The medium sashimi ($40) was worth every penny as it was a great portion and so tender and fresh. Ordered the seared chu toro with uni ($15) off the specials board and was perfectly seared and fresh. Service was very attentive. Will definitely be back regularly.
What a great find near SFO, the fish was fresh and wow very plentiful ratio of fish to rice! The omakase actually felt enough food which is unusual. Can’t wait to come back and try more things.
Delicious take out, amazingly priced omakase $40 for takeout. The variety is great, the quality is high and i would eat it everyday if I could! They even sell sake and other appetizers to enjoy with your “treat-yoself” meal so go out and get some! Also the people are very friendly!
Quick and kind service. Tempura was nicely fried. Chicken katsu was soggy. Sushi deluxe had 7 of 9 good pieces of nigiri.
Great service that was very attentive on a Friday evening around 5 pm. Everything we ate was super fresh and tasty. The best was the omakase, and second best was then California rolls. Next time, I’ll probably order the exact same things!
Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered th

Our final meal in California and my cousin sister suggested Taqueria Mi Durango. So glad we tried this place. Each regular taco costs about $4 to 5. The Al Pastor and Fried Fish tacos are phenomenal and must order. Super highly recommended.

We liked the relaxing environment and the music. The service was excellent and we smoked a "Big Boy". It was very smooth (asked for the ice hose). Quality hookah and furniture was comfy.
Ever since we went to Hawaii weâre always on the hunt for good, authentic Hawaiian food and this place nailed it! The chicken katsu was crispy yet moist and tender. I also ordered spam musubi which was delish. The portions are huge and itâs reaso
I drove up from San Diego to pick up my bro at SFO on our way up north. I was only looking for a place to charge my laptop and devices, wasn't looking for anything special. I randomly chose Big Joe's 8 and am really lucky. Whomever the cook is on Wed
