Totally recommend visiting this gem in Milpitas. One of the ancient 1800s Adobe house structure still in Bay Area. This tour takes takes one through the Alviso history and ancient style house details. Quiet and serene location, must visit.
Quiet place. Free entrance and you will learn so much history about Pleasanton and the changing landscape of California. It is also pet friendly and have plenty of exhibits for kids.
Nice historic site with small museum/education center with information about the dairy industry, nature, the early history of California. There are also hiking trails.
I absolutely love this location for my photography sessions, especially during the fall. The building, cactus plants, cute little bridge are some of my favorite spots to take pictures. You will usually find at least 1 or 2 photographers there all the time during peak seasons.
Great hiking trails. Steady 2 mile climb, them a big loop or several smaller loops. Lots of wildlife out and about in the early morning hours.
I love this little park for photoshoots! It has quite a bit of variety from trees, to cite Adobe buildings, a little bridge and of course some cactus. There’s a lot of backdrops to work with. This park can get busy with other photographers in the morning and evening.
This park transports you into another time and world! The buildings and items inside are kept in immaculate shape. It's a real time capsule here and it's a nice short day trip.
Excellent naturalists/guides who kept the class fascinated as they brought to life both the plants arround us and history that was probably just a vague concept to the kids before the visit
