Al's Cafe - American restaurant in Bethel Park - 440 McMurray Rd, USA

Very good food. My server was extremely friendly and the food was 10/10. We had a bourbon burger, an Als burger, and crab stuffed mushrooms and all of it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was very cool sports bar like vibe but at the same time it was a classy nice restaurant. It's hard to describe but definitely worth a visit. Updated visit: the host that we spoke to on the phone was EXTREMELY rude when asked what time closing was. She told us 9pm and immediately hung up the phone. Other than that strange experience everything else was still just as great as last time. We had a Philly cheese steak and a pulled pork sandwich both of them were delicious. Very clean but small men's bathroom. It smelled fresh like cleaner.

This is a great restaurant and a local institution. They have a really big menu and it often is overwhelming. My daughter and I went for lunch and I’m glad we came. She got the usual chicken fingers and French Fries. She said their chicken fingers are excellent but fries were maybe a 5/10. I got the Mediterranean salad which was excellent. I was really surprised with how good it was. Their portions are generous.

My friend had her daughter's birthday party there yesterday in the room up stairs! We had such a good time. 2 servers and one bartender. One of the servers was a bit stern but she was just doing her job. They both did a wonderful job helping us. The bartender Wayne was the highlight of the night. He was awesome!!!!! Over all we had an amazing time. Not sure about the food. We had a selection of different foods. Pizza, mini Reuben sandwich bites, and stuffed mushrooms. The only thing that was banquet worth were the stuffed mushrooms. They stuffed it with crab meat and cheese! What a delight. Over all I wasn't impressed with the food. Everything else was up to par for sure!!!

Great food. Service was great even with us having a very large group. Food came out hot and as ordered.

Definitely a place we will visit again when we are in that area! We stopped for a late lunch. It wasn't very crowded but a party/event was still wrapping up. We were seated right away and had no wait for our meals.

Just a great all around place. They work great under pressure when very busy also and the weight staff is very friendly. The food is very good and I must try.

This is a hidden gem in the region. A must go to restaurant. Excellent food and generous portions. Friendly service and clean. Ask for Dana who is an exemplary waitress at Al’s. Great selections and house specials. Family friendly and excellent seating with visual items that you want to see. ENJOY!

We went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place is a great size. A big turnoff was when we walked in it. Was extremely hot like there was no air conditioning. I ordered a steak rare knowing it. Would come medium rare...it. came medium. My mother in law who is gluten free found that the gluten free menu was one of the best in the area. The price was decent dinner for two and tip was 47 bucks. Service was ok. Not sure I would go here again.
