I’ve stayed at the Alpine several times over the past few years and have always been pleased. This time was different. They no longer want you in the office and have a sign at front door telling you so. It’s off putting and not welcoming. They come out when they see you arrive. When the office door is opened then you understand why you can’t go inside. The smell of marijuana is pretty strong and that’s not what I want to experience. We had no hot water and complained only to be told that it was set at a proper degree and to let it run for a while. We did and still no hot water. Hot water is always important I feel especially when it’s in the 20’s outside. The rooms are very clean and location can’t get any better for Blowing Rock. The hosts are very casual. Parking can be tight. Walls are thin. Bathrooms are extremely small but they do have nice showers.
We needed a room for one night so we started checking reviews and this place had the best ones around that area. We will be back for Vacation and stay longer then. Everything was so clean and tidy. Give them a try and I promise you will love it. Walking distance to some great food too.
Room was super clean and comfortable. Very charming inn. Would return again. Great location and beautiful, well cared for property! Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Our room had everything we needed and rocking chairs outside room.
Nicely renovated motel style property. Updated and clean. Good parking. Ideal location is a short walk to Main Street. Very little road noise and comfy beds. Would stay again. Price was reasonable compared to other similar accommodation in the area. Nice people!
Love this place. Our first time staying here due to high ratings and was not disappointed. The owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating. Great location and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. In addition, great location to Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Moses Cone Manor and many trails. Spent 3 nights. Just a great location to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway!
We enjoy every stay here! Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the park. The rooms, though small, are clean and cozy with each decorated uniquely. It’s a wonderful 50s style motor court with an awesome little yard with chairs and a gazebo to sit a spell. The landscaping and flowers were beautiful! Hope to visit in the winter sometime.
Did a small romantic getaway with my husband here for a few nights. The place was great! Cozy, clean, beautiful room and landscaping, so many adorable dogs to pet too! There's a front lawn with thick, lush grass and chairs you can relax in- and I am NOT a barefoot in strange places kind of girl, but this grass was that wonderful I just had to sink my toes in it!
Alpine Village Inn is a quaint refurbished motel that has cozy rooms that are all redecorated and clean. Their location is fantastic as you are able to walk to all the restaurants and shops right in Blowing Rock. We will definitely be back.

This is such a beautiful overlook. I wouldnât say itâs the best place to see a sunrise (why we originally went, we saw good sunrise reviews), but itâs still an amazing view. The kids loved it too. Itâs a great overlook to stop by if youâre
Came here multiple times after a drive on the blue ridge parkway. I haven't ever had a good experience with coffee from a coffee truck, but I was pleasantly surprised. Every drink me and my boyfriend tried was amazing! And the price was also really g

Great views! Peaceful. Parking area and a sidewalk to capture stunning views. My photos are doing this area a disservice because the place is gorgeous. There are little cut out areas to capture different views of the area (not shown on my photos). Th
