Second time I've stayed here. Rooms are nice and clean, good bedding, quick hot water. A lot of repairs to be made on the exterior (new paint, etc). What I like most is a great location... Next door to Base Camp, which costs much more, and a short stroll from Harrahs/Harveys, Margaritaville Resort and Heavenly Village. It will continue to be my go-to when traveling by myself to South Shore Tahoe. Pls know there are two adjacent properties under same management - Alpine Inn and Cedar House. Alpine is superior IMO.
Nice people working there. Super quiet, which was surprising for a weekend. Fairly clean, the floors could have been swept better. Very close to everything. Harveys is right across the street and Heavenly village was a short walk. Kids were playing in the pool and they have a jacuzzi. I would definitely recommend it and stay again.
We had an absolutely amazing time at Alpine inn. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff were attentive and helping. The only disappointing thing was that the pillows were very thick and firm. I would have liked softer ones. Will definitely go back.
Positive: The location is ideal--close to the lake and across the street from the Nevada casinos. Quiet, but easy walking distance to the hub of town. Parking was hassle-free. Pool and hot tub were clean and functional. AC, microwave and coffeemaker in room worked. Negative: It's definitely got a funky old motel feel. If you want shiny and moderne, go somewhere else.
We loved everything from check-in to check-out everything was smooth and hassle free. We got an early check-in upon request . Rooms was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and pillows were very soft. Also the Wi-Fi worked great. Will stay here again and would highly recommend this place.
For an affordable option super close to Lakeside Beach this is a gem. They offer beach vouchers to cut the price in half before discounted 5pm option.
Rooms are basic but tidy. Had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
If you need anything the office staff make themselves available even after hours.
Again. This is a budget friendly motel no frills but many thrills with such a convenient location.
Jacuzzi is clean and hot.
Pool was also clean and the Lake Tahoe air makes for a crisp breeze.
You won't find a better affordable option is Stateline.
We have wonderful stay at Alpine inn & spa. Rooms were clean and cozy. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. Staff was nice and welcoming. One of the best thing was its location. We just walked to beach and casino's. Will be staying again for sure !
|The rating is an aggregate of several categories: ||Cost - 5 - the three of us were looking for the cheapest accommodations and this fit the bill. We used Groupon but the receptionist mentioned third-party services like Booking.com and Priceline.||Location - 5 - walk to the beach, various eateries and the casinos||Comfort - 3 - the beds and pillows were good. ||Amenities- 3 - the fridge was off upon arrival, then froze our food overnight. The microwave and coffee maker are tiny. Only two towels, one washcloth and one hand towel were provided for three adults.||Cleanliness of the room - 3 - the vinyl floor was very dirty. It didn't LOOK dirty, but walk on it with bare feet and you see it is. Some cobwebs in the corners. Other areas were somewhat dirty.||Bathroom - 4 - clean and has a nice tile shower, but the shower handle came off while turning it on. The shower head is very high up, great for tall people.||Pool and pool area - 5||Spa - 1 (it was locked the whole time) ||Temperature control - 2 - the wall A/C was barely sufficient for the room. There is no window covering on one window and the afternoon sun baked the room. When we blocked it with pillows and towels, the temperature in the room dropped 10° immediately. ||Other - 3 - FIA at the front desk is very friendly. She gave us a fan (upon request) and half-price vouchers for the beach. The smoke detector is taped to the ceiling and there is a square hole in the wall near the bed, like there was damage but they never repaired it.

The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.

Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
