Noticed this little gem a couple days ago but couldn't stop then. Very happy to be back in the area today to try them out. Chocolate Peanut Butter Oreo was amazing. Lots of outdoor seating available if the weather is nice!
Excellent creamery with a lot of flavors. This is one of the best American style ice creams in North Jersey. The maple Walnut is excellent. The chocolate flavored ice creams are a bit sweet to my taste and would prefer a darker chocolate to be used. But it is definitely on the top of the list along with Taylor's.

Prices vs size are an absolute joke. $12.25 for what equates to really nothing. I thought I'd be getting something to share, a reasonable size considering that it's milk, sugar and some time in the cold. Once again another establishment in Sparta feels their products warrant absurd prices for partial portions. If you don't believe me, in the pic I shared, that's a 4 pack of AA lithium batteries. At this price, I'd rather eat the batteries than pay for ice cream that is sub-par and overpriced.
Very rude young girl today at this establishment silver eye shadow. I decided to give my money instead to the new Sparta Dairy and boy I'm glad I did. Had the best hard ice cream there in my 69 yr life. Bourbon Pecan. Hire better people, not girls with snotty attitudes. You lost a customer and I have a big mouth.
Excellent ice-cream and so many flavors to choose from ! Parking is a hassle but I usually park in the Lake Mohawk Country Club parking if there isn’t an event .
Great ice cream to cool off with during these hot summer days and a view of the lake just a few steps away.
