Great clean room, very spacious, old school but I like that. Front desk manager was great. Plug ins need a slight update, and yes I know everything nowadays is pricey but this was a little bit high. Overall it was great
There is no TV in the rooms so I have to bring a lap top or something to provide tv
While the owner was very friendly and accommodating, I was not impressed w the motel. The room was old, needed a paint job. Bathroom radiator was falling off and rusty. Floors were dirty . Towels were very old in bathroom with hanging strings...Other guests sitting outside their rooms were loud and using foul language on their phones. I later found out many of the other people there were short term section 8 housing people or placed by social services. The second night I propped a chair by the door as there was a bicycle in the bushes outside our room which the owner said was a visitor. The same loud car pulled in and out 3 times running into a room and out very quickly. Appeared to be potentially drug deals of some sort...Definitely would NOT recommend
Please do yourself a favor and pay a little more for something worth the money. This was the cheapest place for the weekend and it was still not at all worth the $188 we paid to stay. I've had better experiences at $60 Super 8's. |This property looks quaint and neat from the outside. Always looked when we passed by in the past and thought it was cute. Inside is anything but cute.|Man at the desk was not unpleasant but certainly not overly personable. Gave us an old fashioned key and we paid the money. When we stepped into the room I was hit by the musty smell reminiscent of a public restroom. I felt perhaps that wasn't too bad, but within about a minute of being there my son's feet were black from the filthy floor. I'm not the type to raise a fuss and I didn't want to throw away the $188 so we stayed reluctantly. We would only be there one night after all.|My skin crawled practically the entire night; but thank God I didn't see a single bug. Beds we old and dingy looking but smelled clean. Bathroom seemed clean, but I still bought a pair of cheap water shoes at Walgreens to traverse the tile and the shower floor. Shower was very stained. Windows and appliances seemed somewhat grimy to the touch. Glad I know never to come back hear.|Icing on the cake was the two men who unintelligibly tried to have a conversation with my husband but inexplicably hightailed it when they saw me. They also mentioned something about my son's eyes? Ugh. Creepy vibes!|Nice place if you don't care about cleanliness, or maybe if you're shooting a horror movie.|Absolutely learned my lesson here! Steer clear all.
Just needed a room for one night. It's not up to date, you get a key instead of a card. But the room was great, especially for the price. The beds were extremely comfortable, the heat worked TOO well, had to turn the thermostat down. WIFI worked fine. Bathroom was clean as a whistle in fact the whole room was. Top that off with a friendly staff, I would recommend this place to anybody. Any negatives? OK, the TV remote needed a new battery.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped with a microwave and mini fridge. Fresh lines are put in room daily (these smell fabulous, by the way). Bathroom also has a heat lamp, which is very nice Nd I imagine nicer on those cooler mornings. Old-world German style, I think. Chairs on front porch where you can sit outside if you wish, and very quiet
terrible, we couldn’t even stay there because of the filth. it smelled like mold and the rooms were very outdated. we asked for a refund since we left as soon as we saw how disgusting the rooms were and we were refused. he said it was because he needed to ‘hold the room’ when other people called but the place was a ghost town. the guy there- im assuming the owner is also incredibly sexist. he wouldn’t talk to my mother just because she was a women and when a family friends father went in there to talk to him and he treated him so different. if i could rate this place a 0/10 i would.
Large room in older motel, and we did not see any bedbugs, though apparently the Lake George area is infested with them at other motels, and from what I now read, this one had them at one time. Makes you wonder about the clientele who go to Lake George, because bed bugs just don't appear on their own. Dirty people bring them.||We found the room to be clean, the bathroom clean, and the bed very comfortable. The manager was very kind and helpful. He recommended a great place for breakfast, which we went to and enjoyed very much.||The motel could use an updating, and so it does not get a 5 rating from me. It was a good deal, in my opinion.
Awesome trails! We are a couple of 60+ year olds, and have been working our way thru the local trails. This one took us almost twice as long than the same distance on Halfway Brook, we really needed to pay attention to the roots and rocks....which is
I brought my daughter and her friend here for her 15th birthday and we had such a great time! The attendant spent a lot of time going over gun safety as we needed it and allowed us to move along at our own pace. He was incredibly kind and patient, wh
Okay first of all, mini golf is pretty popular pastime in the Lake George area. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this location has TWO courses! Thatâs 36 holes total! I believe the prices were $10 per person for one course or $16 to do both
beautiful lit XC skiing trails. trails are groomed with enough room for skate skis and classic XC skis, they also have snowshoeing trails. all the trails seem well marked. absolutely must check this place out!!
This place is a gem! Was craving some delicious Hispanic food and of course, the options in the area were limited. Stopped by La Cocina Mexicana and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered a chicken quesadilla which was fantastic! Filled with veggies and c
