The Mac salad is mid at best. Katsu is pretty good but the gravy is flavorless. Usually with loco moco I leave clean plate. This is not Hawaiian food. More than disappointed. Especially for the price

Aloha Plates is a Hawaiian take out place right inside the food hall of Uwaijimaya. Lunch can get busy, but is the best time since they just make the mac salad right then. Prices are decent and portion size is good, taste is there as well. The service is good, they cook things right in front of you. There is very little seating inside the food hall so be prepared to take it to go.

Chicken katsu is a really large portion of plate, it’s enough for two people. Beef patty is a little bit dry. Considering the price, here is a really good place to grab some comfortable and quick food after shopping.

This place is located inside the Uwajimaya store. It's good food that is served pretty quickly. We just needed a simple and quick snack - Rice with spam and eggs. It's hard to go wrong with that combo. The portion was generous, and it did the job of holding us until dinner.

I ordered a Kahlúa pork. It took a really long time to be ready, despite the fact that it’s scooping some rice and some pork into a bowl and then bagging it. There was only a couple people ahead of me. The pork was dry, tough and what little flavor there was was gross. The “bbq”? Sauce was equally nasty. Rice was just ok. I could only stomach a few bites before giving up. Maybe the crows out here at the fountain across the street will have a better time with it.

Got the pork. Pork itself was good but the portion of BBQ sauce was too small. Skip the mac salad, it's just normal mac salad in a tiny cup. Decent but there are other better options in the cafeteria.

When you're competing against Marination and Buddha Bruddah, you need to bring your A game. With bland, watery rice, dry katsu, and flavorless pork, Aloha Plate misses the mark big time. The mac salad was promising, but the portion was far too small

I got the K & K and it was ok. The portion size is not worth the price. Plus, the chicken katsu was mostly breading. Kalua Pork was tasty. My wife's galic shrimp was flavorful. But, as you can see, small portions and just looked plain. I asked the cashier, "What about the Hawaiian macaroni?" He said it was extra.

TLDR: mom and pop shop serving food with a ton of great flavor! We ordered the loco moco and the kaua pork and both were amazing! The hamburger patty had a great char on it that added some depth of flavor, the pork was tender and just pulled apart,
