Aloft San Francisco Airport - Featured Reviews (2504)
I stayed there for a daytime long layover. Shuttle service was very good; it serves only this hotel and the adjacent one. The shuttle tracker is a great feature. If you are a light sleeper, be aware that there's no soundproofing between floors; if there's someone in the room above you, you'll know it. The hotel has nice outdoor spaces with a firepit, and you can access a waterside walking path by crossing the parking lot of the adjacent hotel.
Overall it’s good I’ve stayed in a number of rooms now, some of the blinds are broken and the AC is loud in some rooms, it’s well maintained overall given its age, probably due for refurbishment soon! My biggest feedback is the way they make the beds, in 70% of the rooms I’ve stayed the sheets at the bottom of the bed are not tucked in and are loose, it looks good until you get in and it has to be remade by the guest. Please pass this feedback onto the housekeeping manager and do spot checks that beds and sheets are made properly
Ok, this is a nice hotel to stay at. That's if you don't mind hearing the planes taking off because it's near the airport. All in all, I still find you can get a good deal, plus they have a heated pool, complementary water, coffee, and tea. It's clean and they offer parking. I'll be back.
Hotel lobby is nice, big and clean. The hallways and rooms are dark and shabby. Splatter stain on the wall, bathroom sink didn’t drain. Luckily it was just an overnight stay near the airport!
This hotel is really close to the airport and newer, and the shuttle is convenient and reliable. It’s about $15 by cab from SFO. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The rooms are good, and beds are firm and comfortable. Plenty of room for your luggage. There is only a shower & no bathtub, which is common. Coffee and tea in room with small coffee maker you can use to just get hot water from. There is a refrigerator but no microwave. The breakfast options are meh (American, unhealthy, expensive) but better than nothing. There are a lot of very overpriced healthy and regular snacks available. It feels safe. Pool but no hot tub.
This is a quick one night stay before a long flight next day. It’s a nice transit hotel with a decent urban and modern style. Details below:||1) Location: It’s about 10 mins drive to SFO. You can go by Uber which is about $15 or shuttle provided. I came from the airport using the shuttle and it’s actually shared with The Westin too. This is my first time staying in Milbrae airport and it’s surprisingly nice although it needs more dining options in the surroundings. ||2) Reception: The associates at the reception has a positive attitude, nice, and very efficient. It doesn’t take long for me until I got my keycard to my room. ||3) Room: The room design is very typical Aloft with a walk-in bathroom and shower which I like. The room has decent size and plenty of space for my stuff. The bed is comfortable and clean. The patio is actually has a decent view. My only surprise is that, the distance from the elevator to my room is quite far. I did not expect the size of the hotel. ||4) Other aspects: As I only staying for a night, I didn’t much explore and use hotel facilities. The shuttle doesn’t really have a perfect schedule with my flight so I decided getting an Uber which luckily easy. I also did not have breakfast, but they do provide drip coffees in the lobby every morning.||Overall it’s a good transit hotel. Definitely recommended for a quick stay.
Super convenient location for returning our rental car and hopping on the shuttle to the airport. Our room was spacious and clean and well supplied with the essentials. I had specifically booked this hotel because of the nice outdoor seating, but when we went outside to hang out by the fire ring the air smelled so strongly of jet fuel that it just wasn’t enjoyable. I guess that’s the con of being so close to the airport. Would stay here again
Reserved a room but when I arrived at around 1AM they already had given away my reserved room and could not give me a suitable alternative (two double beds or two king rooms). I’ve never had that happen before at any hotel across the U.S. They offered no assistance in finding any other hotel for the night and I had to spend an additional two hours finding another hotel which was an hour out of San Francisco. Other than that I’ve stayed here before, good rooms and normally good service — this experience was out of the ordinary but needed to be mentioned.
My husband and I stayed here during our weekend trip to San Francisco. It was a very good deal. We had no initial deposit for our 3 day stay, and we had free breakfast every morning! The cleaning ladies are so nice and had the room clean with towels
This location is home away from home thanks to the friendly front desk staff. All staff are so kind and caring. I would like to acknowledge Razika, Debbie and Om for their contributions to the customer experience. Juan and his crew for making sure ro
The manager Koko is AMAZING! Very enthusiastic, professional, welcoming demeanor, just a great energy to be around. Knows his craft. Has a lot of great juices, I'm VERY picky and liked a bunch of the ones I tried. I actually couldn't decide on which o
I really felt weird that your waitress, a sweet and beautiful girl makes a disgruntled face and is being sassy. Like she was doing me a favor. No offense, but I came here to enjoy the food and have a good time, not to see why I'm getting a wrinkled f
Bayfront Park offers a unique experience for aviation enthusiasts. The prime location provides an excellent vantage point to witness San Francisco's flight landings and takeoffs. The park's amenities and comfortable viewing spots make it an ideal spo
My father is a regular and he brought me to this excellent sandwich Deli while I visited San Francisco. I ordered one of the Premium Hot sandwiches and it was very good. The bread was so fresh and the fillings were very generous and great value. I hi
