Aloft Denver Airport at Gateway Park - Featured Reviews (1343)
Easy check in and a nice, efficient room design. Comfortable beds. We used the shuttle twice and it worked out great. Just sign up when you check in. They run about every 30 minutes to Aloft and the nearby Marriott properties. Easy walk to a few restaurants. Pool and gym are very basic but there if you need them.
Hotel consistently overbooks with online booking due to needing rooms for an airline. They make no effort to call you to let you know and when you arrive say they have rooms at another hotel.
Our experience tonight was awful. We arrived after dinner and were given a piece of paper and told we are at another hotel. We had no car and it was down pouring. We got a ride from one of the employees and when we got to the other hotel, they did not have rooms for us. The individual who gave us a ride kept making 1000 excuses as to why the Aloft didn’t have rooms and kept blaming this other hotel stating they had rooms and had told them they did. At this point they made inappropriate offers of other places we could stay rather than coming up with other hotels.
They ended up talking to another manager and found out there was a different hotel that had rooms for us. We got to the hotel and luckily they had a few rooms “set aside” for us.
All in all it was very stressful, the individual was helpful in giving us a ride but inappropriate and unhelpful in all other aspects.
Unfortunately, our friends we were going to visit had a family member pass away, so they had to fly out town to arrange the funeral. So our family had to cancel our flights and travel plans for the visit. Every place was understanding and helped us cancel and process a refund EXCEPT for Aloft! When we called to explain what had happened, they told straight up no refund on your room and then charged us another $25 the day after our scheduled arrival a no-show fee. We should have just stayed at a Hilton as they have accommodated us with a refund in the past when my wife's father passed away on a travel vacation. At this point, we have started the process with travel insurance company for them to process this hotel charge. I'm glad we paid for the added travel insurance. We never had to use it until now.
We stayed here as part of Travelsphere tour party from the UK for one night after our flight from London. Convenient for the airport. Staff were very nice and helpful. Problem for us was the noise from the interstate and trains sounding their whistles throughout the night. If you’re used to city traffic noise then I guess this wouldn’t be a problem. The complimentary bottles of water were a nice gesture - one that didn’t feature in any of the other hotels we stayed in on the tour.
Very good value. Room was smaller but bathroom was huge. Very clean and everything worked. Quiet room and hallway despite being completely booked. Aloft is Marriotts quirky brand but this hotel was just as nice as any Fairfield. Parking behind the building provided more than enough space and there was good access to the highway. Multiple food options within walking distance.
Terrible experience from start to finish! Drove from Ca for softball tournament. Lady that checked us in was rude and unpleasant! Lobby and elevators were so hot due to air not working the entire week we were there. Our truck was parked in parking lot up against hotel and was broken into. Reported to hotels GM Szilvia Szocs who wouldn’t even call us back. Front desk said they had cameras in parking lot but no one would help us or cared expect one young man who worked the front desk at night who allowed us to park at entrance since the thefts broken our door locks and couldn’t lock our truck the rest of the trip. Police department said the area is a hot spot for break ins and car theft and it was a good possibility they be back for our truck. Room was small, no microwave and couldn’t get towels or TP for hours when requested. Pool was dirty. Never would stay again, not a safe place!
Would have been all 5s across the board but the air conditioner in the lobby/ bar area is broken and it was a complete sauna. Come to find out by asking employees that it's been broken for quite some time (months) and that there is no urgency to fix it. Come on do better take care of your staff! If your motto is guest satisfaction it should match that of employee satisfaction.
Modern hip hotel with a bar and pool table in the main lobby. It has an outside area with fire pits and an indoor pool, but it is a small pool. This hotel is convenient and close to restaurants on Tower Road in Aurora/Denver, Colorado. It is also less than 10 minutes from Denver International Airport.
This is an excellent Hampton Inn! Everything looked new and was all very clean and fresh.
Our room was spotless and smelled like fabric softener. Spacious shower, hot water, good water pressure.
The breakfast was excellentâgreat service from the
We stayed there for 4 Nts in Dec of 2023. The staff is incredible. Mary at the front desk, Melissa the shuttle driver and Jen at the bar. The event staff were also great. The hotel is near 3 hospitals but you never hear outside noise. Rooms were quie
It is more expensive than we usually pay but it was very nice. Quiet room even though it was near a very busy street. Comfy bed very clean. Nice water pressure, hot water. Guest services were very professional and welcoming. Nice ambience in the lobb
Excellent dog park for fur babies to have some off-leash fun time! It has trails, water, sand beach, native landscape set in a mountain range backdrop. The only con would probably be the entry price, it is $11 for the state park (the dog park is pa
The parking lot was a bit shady, but the place was amazing. Food comes in large portions -- they were really good but we could only finish half of what we ordered. The spicy soup was my favorite, but the curry was great too. Their service was top-not
1st time checking out Parkside Eatery & Taco Choi. Very tasty however I think it would improve the appearance and food if each taco had its own unique sauce and or toppings to give it more flair and flavor.
This Nature Center is completely FREE! It has so many displays, interactive toys, nature books, and live animals (snake, turtle, and a lizard!) It is so wonderful!!!!
If you are wanting to enjoy the inside portion of the center (and let me tell you,
Absolutely amazing cuisine. The meat was cooked extremely well and the sides were very delicious. My wife had the steak and it was cooked to perfection and she truly enjoyed it. We also had the break for the appetizer and it was great. I suggest
