We've never stayed at an Aloft hotel before. After this stay it certainly won't be our last!! Our corner room had floor to ceiling windows giving us spectacular panoramic views of the city and lake Erie. We also had a balcony with 2 chairs and weather cooperated so we were able sit out and enjoy. ||The Grab n Go breakfast options were the best. The breakfast sandwich was excellent and Big. The breakfast burrito was huge and the best I've tasted.||The XYZ bar was cool. Good drinks and food were really good, especially the chicken BLT wrap. ||The neighboring place. V/Ice had exceptional salads.||The staff was great and facilitie clean and modern
I never write reviews but this was such a rip off that it has compelled me to write one. The 12th floor might have good views, but it is incredibly loud from the rooftop bar. There is nothing in the room to buffer the sound so you hear every beat of bass from the bar upstairs. I asked to be moved and was moved to "the same type of room I paid for". What I paid for was a king room with a view. The attached picture is the "view" from my room . It is a bunch of hvac equipment. The room was also by the elevator and very loud, but quieter than the loud bass from the rooftop bar. The front desk was apologetic but couldn't do anything other than give some extra points because technically they were the same type room.
Some other annoyances that other hotel chains account for is there is no option to leave the ac fan running all night, so there was nothing to drown out hallway noise. There were no shelves in the shower to hold your toiletries, and the bathroom door didn't latch or lock. The shower was unnecessarily complicated. There were no instructions in the room to tell you to press some unlabeled buttons to turn on the hot water. After this experience, I will never stay at an Aloft again.
Stopped here on a long road trip, what a great location!! If you stop by don’t miss the rooftop bar! We enjoyed wine & an amazing sunset over Lake Erie.
Great location and the rooftop bar and staff was A+. Hotel very clean, very helpful staff that provided service with a smile. Would stay again, and would frequent that rooftop bar again for sure. Highly recommend!!! A+ experience!!
Hotel is new - staff is not as component or willing to serve . The lobby stank like dead fish during my visit but hey , rooms were amazing ! parking is $17 extra per overnight in the building but elevators take you straight to your floor in hotel. DO NOT BOOK ROOMS ON 12th floor, the rooftop bar right up top is noisy AF and lots of drunks roaming around after closing hours. Also the bars at lobby level has strict dress policy so keep in mind. overall just saw too many high school/ undergrad drunk idiots around to enjoy the vibe. more of a younger crowd friendly hotel. please don’t bother to respond with any insult related to being old- proud and happy to be one .
I was at Aloft Buffalo Downtown for Roswell's Cancerchella. The hotel was very accommodating, fun, and very comfortable. Their bowling alley was a lot of fun and the XYZBar had great drinks and was very comfortable to socialize in. It gets very busy Friday and Saturday nights with the rooftop bar judging by the line of people waiting for the elevator up. The staff did well to work around some of the rude and pushy customers. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a nice visit in downtown Buffalo!
Nice modern hotel. Rooms are spacious and quiet. If you're a light sleeper, try and ask for a room that doesn't face the streets. Downtown Buffalo has a lot happening at night apparently from loud cars to sirens. Pet friendly hotel which is a big plus, however there's not much around the area in terms of pet friendly areas (park, grassy areas, etc) which isn't necessarily the hotels fault, but a small courtyard with some grass would've been a nice thought if you're welcoming pets. Hotel staff is super accommodating. Our first room was right onto the roof of the building and there was something flapping around outside and the person at the desk changed our rooms without hesitation.
Nice big room and bed and soft towels. Noise factor is higher in the hallways and stairwells. Busy spot in downtown Buffalo within walking distance of a ton of restaurants
Such a clean room, very comfortable bed and blankets. I stayed in the Chelsea and the bed was huge. The bathroom was also so gorgeous--shampoo, conditioner, body wash all included. The owner reached out after my first day and asked what cleaning serv
Hotel check-in was easy, and the receptionist was nice. Starbucks is attached to the hotel. The room was clean and neat. The gym is gorgeous. Nice indoor pool and laundry room on the first floor. I would stay here again. Breakfast was good, too. Ther
Pure Barre Buffalo classes are great, low impact workouts that increase your balance, strength and posture. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful too!
I have recently just started going to Teaira the beginning of the month. I started at her Glutecamp class and then proceeded with her personal training. The first day I trained with her she was very welcoming. I love the vibe she has. When you feel l
