Almare Gelato Italiano - Ice cream shop in Pleasanton - 349 Main St, USA

Went there on a hot Sunday and the gelato hit the spot. I got the mint and chip and even though I was full I finished it off. It was creamy and fresh and was at the perfect consistency of not being runny and not bring too hard. It was like a good pizza the way it would stretch when you pulled your spoon away. My wife went rogue and tried something new for her, key lime pie. She liked it and finished most of it, but it became too tart at the end. I had s as bite and thought it tasted like key lime pie. My daughter had the vanilla or closest thing to it and she finished it off. She’s four years old and enjoyed playing with the toys at the entrance. If I’m in Pleasanton I would definitely go again.

The ice cream is really really tasty, well made! Not too sweet. The flavor range is nice and wide enough. More like European style ice cream, unlike American stile slushy sweet. I can definitely recommend this place. Only minus is that there is no restroom. The clients will have to use the Peet's coffee restroom next door

Nice location in Pleasanton downtown. Plenty of outdoor spots to eat. Cappuccino and pistachio flavors are good. Try this place for sure.

Tried this gelato place for the first time. Fell in love with the Pistachio and Rose flavors! TIP: Go early so you can try all the flavors. We went around closing time and you can see in the video what was left. Absolutely delicious gelato at Almare. Highly recommended.

Wow this place has tasty quality Gelato! Highly recommend. I go back and forth between having my ice cream fix here and Meadowlark. Top 2 ice cream places in Pleasanton hands down.

Loved the sorbets here. Mango and strawberry sorbets were amazing. Great service too. They patiently let us try doing different flavors. Will go again soon.

Yummlicious gelato 🍧…. Decent amount of options … not overpowering your taste buds very light leaves a great feeling after every bite homemade run by homecompany as well 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾😍😍😍.. will visit many more times for more pictures

This is rating for just the italian cookies they sell. They don't mind selling cookies past their expiration date, and at an insane price. Never again. See pictures attached. Purchase date: February 11, 2022. Response to owner: I appreciate that you mind. I like to support small businesses, especially italian, and that's why I bought 5 packs of cookies from you at once. I also always leave very fat tips whenever I buy the gelato. I was just disappointed on finding not one, but two packs expired out of the 5 I bought and finding out about the expired date by their altered taste. I am changing this to a 5 star review in good faith that this was an isolated incident. And you can keep the money of the expired cookies as a tip. I had to throw them out.
