Almar Motel on Dix rd has new owners and is INFESTED with roaches and bed bugs and always have crackheads staying up there starting fights and calling the police up there they need to be shut down the bathrooms have MOLD in the floors and the showers. The new owners are first time business owners and they have NO CLUE how to handle business

1st I wanna say that the family that owns this hotel are the most amazing people! They understand day to day struggle. We thought we would be in the street but we talked to the owner and they gave us time to pay that day. The rooms are good for the price! THANK YOU SO MUCH ALMAR MOTEL!!

The room was very clean,the owners are nice and friendly.Check out is 11am the latest around.Bathrooms were extremely clean and they have mivcrowaves and little refrigerators so you put food and drinks.For the most part it is very peaceful.Anf not far from the berlin turnpike,91 and 84.

Too expensive for what you receive. $5 TV remote deposit when you get room, get money back when you check out. Rooms are not what you pay for. $70 for one night is ridiculous for the quality. I'd expect $40 a night for this quality of a room not almost double . Old, smell, not worth the money, I wouldn't choose to stay here ever again unless everything nearby is booked, which is the only reason why I stayed there in the first place. I told the lady that the room is only worth $50 for the quality, since a mile down and then a few miles down, you can get a way better quality room for that price, I tried talking the lady down but she wouldn't budge, I was too tired to drive anywhere else and call other places so I just gave in to the crazy price of $70. I should of got an Airbnb instead of this place. It really is not worth the price You can get a luxury room which looks like a suite, at Hawthorne in Manchester for $20 more. With breakfast and much more Tldr Don't stay here unless everything else is booked, not worth the price, if it was half the price it still would be a maybe.

Staff was very good. Clean as well as polite. Unfortunately the rooms are small and not quite so clean. Newish, flat screen TV. Beds are comfortable for me as their firm mattresses.

This place reminds me of a cheap 1970s Burt Reynolds movie. The decor and furniture tute are reminiscent of a different era. It’s obvious that very little upgrades have been performed in this turnpike motel equipped with tacky heart shaped hot tubs in the rooms. The only things missing are a condom dispenser in the bathroom and a coin operated vibrating bed. Unless you are looking for a cheap quick romp with one of the many stationed “Girls of the Night” , I recommend staying as far away from this place as possible. One can not be sure that at any second the police vice squad won’t come busting through the door chasing the previous occupants and their illicit activity. SMH! Get this, that isn’t the worst part. They actually want $150 for this. Yeah Right!!! Maybe back in Burt’s Day!! ✌🏾😉
