Allen's Budget Motel - Apts - Featured Reviews (115)
Only a few miles from town but a far better choice for a reasonably priced motel in Watertown. |Ultra clean spacious room with microwave and refrigerator. No coffee machine in the room but always a fresh pot in the office. |Nice quality sheets. We did find the bed a little uncomfortable for two, but there were two beds so that worked out OK. |Bathroom was very nice with huge shower but we found the towels a little thin and too few.|Clean grounds and parking lot shows attention to detail. |Nice diner just up the street for breakfast.|We will come again.
This hotel is a gem. I have returned because my first stay here was awesome. Those who own/run this hotel give excellent customer service. I was able to call and have a room held for me. The rooms are what hotel rooms should be. Clean, cozy, comfortable. The location is just far enough off the main road, but not totally isolated.
I highly recommend this hotel if you want a quality stay along with some wonderful staff.
The staff was very nice. The rooms were quiet. The rooms were clean for the most part. The beds and sheets were clean, no stains, but were very uncomfortable, There were spider webs in corners, food crumbs in drawers. Sign the window was broken and not to open. I did not like there were no extra locks on the doors. Don’t walk around without shoes your feet will turn black. Carpets need to be deep cleaned.
The staff were awesome.|The location is average.|Pillows are great, but mattresses need to be updated. Shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water. No coffee in room, no kleenex and horrible toilet paper.|We arrived on Friday until Tuesday, they only cleaned on Monday.|Towels are very small, no hand towels.|It is a very budget hotel.
Owner was incredibly sweet, and called to make sure we were still checking in (9pm at the time). Rooms are a little old fashioned in decor, but it's extremely clean and well maintained. You're definitely getting more for what you're paying
Great place to stay in Watertown. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, this is the place. The room was clean, the staff are friendly and the bed was comfortable. Just keep in mind that it's a BUDGET motel and not a fancy hotel. The room we had came with a fridge and microwave. Will definitely stay there again.
Very comfortable, without the frills. My room-2 queen beds- had a sink, microwave, and small frig. There was 2 desks for workspace, smaller flat screen tv. The unit was clean. There is no eating facilities at the motel, but a diner is within walking distance.,
It is definitely old fashioned but was extremely clean. Great location, and had everything you would need.
As long as a place is clean and things work, I will never complain about a place this cheap. Location is right off 81 and about 5 minutes from a couple of fast food places. Water for the shower was hot and good pressure. Heating and a/c worked well. This is the perfect place to crash for a night after a day of driving and/or coming from Canada.
There is a kitchenette as well which is nice.
We went to Zero Latency VR looking for an activity to celebrate my son's birthday with his cousins, so our age group was 6 y - 13 y. Paul did an amazing job assisting the younger ones and ensuring everyone had a fun time and remained safe (as it was
My family and I had a fantastic time rafting! There were higher water levels than usual, but nonetheless we had fun. They closed off the second half of the river, since it was too dangerous, but we were accommodated with another ride of the first hal
Headed to NYC from Toronto and stopped for some gas and when suddenly the mist cleared and like a beacon in the night I spotted a Jamaican flag and Celest Jamaica Cuisine appeared on the Horizon. The food is fantastic and the portions monstrous.
