We used the Rec for my daughter’s Birthday party and the place was so spacious!! The bathrooms were clean for the party guest and the pool was too! Everyone had a great time. The staff came and made sure the bathrooms were clean and even mopped up because the kids tracked in water - so sweet. Aryn Ames, who was our contact, kept checking to see if we needed anything and just all around wanted to make sure everyone was having a great time! Definitely would rent out the Rec again for other events. We did do some walking to see the area and it was very clean. Everyone around were just so sweet and polite! I wish I could give it more stars ⭐️

We’ve taken our RV here multiple times this year for up to 30 days at a time. We love that we can walk to the lake, there’s a beach area, and a pool. The showers at bath house are clean and updated. There’s a coin laundry, propane refill, and in addition to the dump station, they will dump your tank at your site for a fee. Some sites have a gray water dump. There are train tracks very nearby, but the sound doesn’t bother us during the day or with the a/c on inside the RV at night.

We rented the Rec Hall for a Birthday Party and it was a great experience. Everyone who came said they had so much fun. We rented tables and chairs which the Marina employees helped carry these in. That was a huge help as I’m not able to do this myself without help. Everything was clean which included, the pool, Rec hall and bathrooms. Aryn is who was our contact, she arranged help with tables/ chairs and checked in on us throughout the day if we needed anything.

Wifi is great. No cable or sewage hook up at most sites which didn't bother me. My back in site had hookups on the wrong side- unless you have extra long water hose & electrical cord you have to pull in which makes your door on oppisite side of your pinic table & firepot/grill. Lots not level. The pool is nice, bathrooms are clean, camp store is nicely stocked- even with beer. Lake acess near the cove was nice for swimming & floating. Beach area could use some work.- looks dirty. Playgrounds are nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It's a beautiful property, and there were lots of ducks and ducklings all over the grounds in the spring. We stayed in one of the full hookup sites in the front of the park for 1 week. We were closer to the train tracks in our site, just be aware that the train runs through the night. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

I have stayed on and off at Alatoona Landing for about the last 12 months. From the front office staff/management to maintenance to the ‘higher ups’ everyone is kind and caring and go above and beyond in service to their guests. Most of the sites are somewhat staggered, so you’re not staring in the windows of your neighbor when out under your awning. Each site has a fire pit and concrete picnic table. The fire pit had a grated, movable “lid” so you can cook over the fire if that’s your thing. The grounds are very well maintained, the pool water is clear without a strong chlorine smell, and the bathrooms/showers are emaculate and remind me of a health club or spa; nice tile and granite countertops. The water pressure and temperature control are a step above any RV park I’ve ever stayed at. I did not use the laundry facility. There’s a huge beach that is never crowded; dog and small boat friendly. I would like to see a fenced in dog park, but there’s plenty of nice walking space around the park and most guests are good about keeping their dogs on leashes and picking up after their pooch. There is a busy train track that runs along one end of the park and 2-3 nearby crossings where the conductor has to blow the train whistle. It’s pretty loud at the pool, but not unbearable. My favorite sites back up to a fence on that side of the park & I was pleasantly surprised to be able to sleep through the late night passes. I’ve stayed at other parks around the lake, and the train noise can be heard from just about everywhere. I think it’s silly for people to deduct “stars” over something that the RV park has not control over. I highly recommend this park and will definitely stay here again!

The Allatoona Landing campground was very nice. Clean, well maintained and amenities were good. Only a few things kept me from giving more stars: 1. We had campsite # 7 which turned out was near the entrance. Lots of traffic on that main road. If we stay again, we'll select a site further from the front entrance. 2. The campground (especially where our site was) is parallel to train tracks. The train ran all hours, every day we were there. If you don't mind listening to train sounds/horns at 3 a.m., then you'll be fine! Otherwise, maybe select a site further away from the tracks side. We didn't realize the tracks were there or we would have selected a different site. 3. The sites were very small. We have just a 29ft travel trailer and an F350 truck. There wasn't enough room for our small camper and our truck, so we parked it in the grassy area next to our site. It would've been nice if the paved spaces were a little longer. Plus we were very close to our neighbors. Now I will say we've been at campsites that were waayyyy more crammed, but it still would've been good to have a little more space. We did enjoy the beautiful area, the park mostly clear of debris and nice facilities. The "market" in the office didn't have very much and was overpriced, but you're paying for convenience. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would stay again, just will choose a different site.

If you like sleeping or have kids that need sleep, don’t stay here. There are train tracks right next door that cross the main road they don’t mention and every hour or two through the night you hear a loud train blow their horns multiple times as they cross the main road. Some sites have sewer hook up some sites don’t. Not a big deal however occasionally it smells like sewage throughout the whole campground. Not pleasant especially when you want to sit around the campfire. They advertise amenities like the pool and yet it’s been closed since we’ve arrived (middle of July and its 95 degrees with three kids) If you have anything in the upper 30s to low 40 foot camper range, scout the location first or book a drive thru site. If the camp ground isn’t fully booked you may be lucky enough to have room to park. The spaces themselves fit equipment length as advertised however the trees and the car paths are extremely narrow and if there are campsites booked all around your site there will be NO room to swing you truck to back into your space with out possibly having to unhook and rehook in a different orientation multiple times. Here for 6 nights, will cross it off the list of options for future travel plans
