My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the downtown location, which is conveniently two blocks away from Main Street. It was a comfortable walk to all the restaurants and bars we wanted to visit, and we felt very safe walking around at night. We stayed in the Simple Pleasures room, which had a small kitchen area (microwave, stove top, sink, full size refrigerator). The shower is a tight squeeze, the bed was very comfortable. The stay includes a breakfast and our room was stocked with cereal, coffee, milk, orange juice and a coffee cake. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We rented out all 6 rooms for a girl trip. It was wonderful! We had the whole place to ourselves! The bed & bed sheets were super smooth and soft. The rooms were spacious (except room 3) with king size beds, sofas, & kitchens with all the necessities including fridges & microwaves. The pool was fab-we couldn't figure out how to work the hot tub. But other than that-No problems!

Check in||Sunday arrival, no address given to check-in at before receiving the “code”. The email says it is to be sent by 4.30 for 4 pm check-in. The access code is given to you via text/email They refused to tell you in advance where the property was as they said people were bum rushing the staff to get into the rooms. We simply wanted to park there as parking is a premium on the weekends. We wasted more time having to stop and look for the email and repeated check-ins as we were trying to change for a 5 pm dinner, they knew about. Not happy with that as they knew we had an early dinner and wanted to change. They state that if you don’t get your text/mail then you have to drive to a secret location and call on a phone to get them.||||So, to disclose the address, it is 110 West Schubert and the number is 866-244-7897. ||www: Absolutecharm.com||||Room Generally||No cost hangers in the closet. You could not hang your clothes No space to put luggage for access except the floor behind the lazy boys or under the closet rack. No space to put luggage for access except the floor behind the lazy boys or under the closet rack. No side tables for chairs. One nightside table lamp. No Kleenex. The pictures you see on the website are mostly of the room we stayed in. No personal safe in the room. The closet rod is not fastened down.||My wife’s issue was there was no make up area except for taking up the bathroom. There is a nice area to the left of the TV that would be nice for a mirror for this use.||||Bathroom||No towel racks in the bathroom. There was a hanger on the back of the door but it was missing. So, nothing to hang a towel, dot kit, etc, on. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom, the roll sits on the toilet. You could not fill the nice tub fully with hot water as you ran out of hot water. ||The steps into the bathroom and in and out (See measurements) and especially at night are a problem. And with the size of the steps, I do not believe It is handicapped accessible. Yep, stubbed my toes on the first short step and I did not like stepping down from the tall step by the toilet. (Again, see measurements in pictures) No night lights so you can’t see it at night. I highly advise leaving bathroom light on at night. The steps up and down could be an issue for people. The top cabinet drawer screeches when shutting.||Power||No electricity by the two-top table, which means you can’t keep the laptop charged unless you bring an extension cord. Two outlets in kitchen, one in the cabinets (not sure why), one by the outside walk another one by door and bedside table.||||Bedding ||The king bed sits in two twin box springs and the mattress appears to be a fairly new seat with tags. The mattress is a perfect sleeper Glenmoore 2.0. For us, it was not a perfect sleeper. The reclining chairs were great and recline well to sleep in also. ||Outside Pool||The poll bottom is darker in real life. The spa controls are on a hand held remote so you need to be sure to find that. The tub mounted controls do not work. The spa jets were all closed. So, a tip is, if they are you need to loosen the ring(s) to get the jets to spin. This will help heat up the spa quicker as it takes a while anyway.||The Website does not show that there are 3 tall tables with chairs and umbrellas. It also does not show what appears to be a grill in the back.||Across the street is a small creek area. There are feral cats there and people stop by at random times to feed them. If you like cats, they probably would appreciate some food.||The pictures on the website for the most part were the room we were in but they do not show the bathroom steps and other issues. They must have been taken earlier.||||Customer service/personal attention is minimal. We asked for help planning our dinner for our anniversary and got none. We also tried to see if a nicer room available and again not much help. We asked about roses petals on the bed as shown in the picture and it was a -- well we don't do that.||||Good luck-have fun.

We stayed for only one night but were blown away by the room. Firstly, it actually looks like the management photos on the website and the rooms is fully equipped with everything you could need in your kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The furniture seems of high quality and the bed is super comfy. ||We were blown away by the freshly baked cake in our room upon arrival, even though we did not book any additional packages for our stay. Overall a great experience, the only thing was that the pool and the hot tub were both quite cold so we actually did not end up using them.

I read these these other reviews and wonder if I am at the right place. Unit number 3, was 200 square feet at the most, the size of a cruise ship room. Old...outdated everything. Poorly decorated, not worth the money. Over $700 for three nights. No breakfast or food, that others have mentioned, guess that would have been extra.||Pros: close, free parking. The pool & hot tub were nice. Linens were clean. There was a hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner, and soap. Two towels for the pool were provided.|||Cons: Was told there would be Keurig in the room, there wasn’t. Multiple stairs and levels to get to the throne, in the bathroom. Did I mention the room was SMALL!! Only two towels. Very outdated everything!! Old outdated room entry system, why just not install Kabo locks??||Won’t be back. ||

We enjoyed this quirky property. First there was lots to be liked. The location was a short three block walk to Main Street and allowed us to leave our vehicle parked. The location also made for a quiet night. There was a large coffee cake at arrival that was very thoughtful and replaced the third day. The pool and jacuzzi were a few steps away but we did have time to enjoy. It is a small space but had everything we needed. For those that want to cook there is a simple two burner stove, large fridge, microwave, and basic plates and utensils. ||||As stated the space is small and that challenges to the shower which appeared to be an insert into a closet sized space. It was functional but if you are over 6 ft tall or a bit in the large side it may be tight. The arrangement of the toilet is odd but not something to dissuade. The toiletries provided were nice and seemed high quality. ||||Here are a couple of tips. During the summer definately leave the air conditioner on. The room can get stuffy and the window does not have a screen. When in the room cools it just may take a minute. Consider taking your own Keurig pods or coffee. The coffee was a little dry. Admittedly the biggest challenge is the bed which is a full and very bouncy. We were okay but if you are not accustomed to sleeping close to your significant other this is a challenge. ||||All things considered we were pleased and would stay here again. Other rooms may be even better with a larger size that our unit which is clearly described as the smallest on the website. Even then we would stay in the same room again.

Cute little cottages and a great location. BUT you'd be better off sleeping on the floor because the bed was really uncomfortable. Parking is an issue and people just kind of parked wherever they wanted, so close I had to pull out so my wife could get in. Water pressure in the shower was a joke and you could barely get the soap out of your hair. Not sure what was wrong with the pool but it looked gross. Way too many other, better places to stay in or around Fredericksburg. We won't be back to this one.

My wife and decided to get out of San Antonio for the weekend. We picked the cottage at circle J and couldn't have been happier!! Great stay for a couples vet away or for 2 couples. It was the most expensive on their list but worth every penny! Awesome little cottage on the back of private land. A short 10 min drive from down town fredericksburg. Extremely clean and very comfortable beds. 2 king size and a pullout sofa. Small kitchen but has everything you need. Awesome covered patio with room to sit and eat. Private pool, hot tub and fire pit. If you want to trap yourself away from everything for a weekend i would pick this place.
