Our family just had a once in a lifetime experience in Alaska with All Alaska Outdoors. The lodge is clean and peaceful with everything you need including a grill, full kitchen and a trout pond right out in front of the lodge where we caught dinner for one of our nights! The staff is amazing, from Suzanne the owner, to Tessa, Monte and Jason. The fishing guides are great with kids and know how to catch fish and show everyone a good time. From Eric Locker to Jim McCormick to Lawrence and Aren at Talon Air, and Lucas Weldin up on the upper Kenai- everyone was amazing. ||The separator though for All Alaska is the experience of jumping in Bob’s (All Alaska owner) plane and allowing him to show you his favorite spots in Lake Clark National Park, from Twin Lakes to Crescent Lake, home of the largest concentration of coastal brown bears on the planet. Bob’s 25 years of knowledge of the park and fishing spots is unmatched. If you like fishing 80 miles from a road in crystal clear lakes and streams with no one around for grayling, lake trout, char and rainbows, then the Ultimate Fly Out with Bob via All Alaska Outdoors is the trip for you. Did I mention flying through mountain passes and by steaming volcanoes with Bob on the way to the fishing grounds?||Alaska is a big place with variable conditions and weather. Bob and his team at Talon Air and his group of guides are able to get you to beautiful places and beautiful fish in a way that rigid plans and limited versatility outfits cannot do. In the end, this versatility is everything to enjoying the best of Alaska.
We had a great trip with All, Alaska outdoors, and Dr. Bob Ledda. The lodge we stayed in on the lake was clean and comfortable. The trips we took, including the float plane into the wilderness, and the boat on the Kenai river were excellent. Cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Especially if you are after the three species of ptarmigan.
If you're looking for the best spot in Alaska for lodging and guided fishing/hunting, All Alaska Outdoors is the place to go! My husband and I had a seven night stay in late September with five days of guided fishing trips, and every aspect of our experience was incredible. Tessa, the lodge manager, is super kind and helpful, not to mention an incredible cook! (The lodge makes dinner on Wednesday nights, but other than that, you're responsible for your own meals - which works out fine because our room had a fully kitchen with everything we needed to cook our own food, and there are places to buy groceries in Soldatna right down the road.) We also had the chance to go on two fishing trips with the amazing Dr. Bob, who genuinely cares about what you're hoping to do with your trip and tailored our experience to the fish my husband was hoping to catch - and he found us some incredible fish both days! Hands down the two best days of fishing we've ever had. Our guides and pilots for the other three days were fantastic as well - we already can't wait to come back again. The lodge itself is very cozy - we stayed in a suite above the main lodge and it was the perfect size for two people. The room was exceptionally clean, and housekeeping came in daily to clean and even washed the dishes, which we weren't expecting and was a pleasant surprise. There is also a sauna on-site, which we didn't take advantage of this trip, fire pits and grills outside the rooms, and access to a lake with a few fishing rods if you also want to fish during your free time. We were also big fans of the lodge cat, Reeses, who was very friendly and greeted us when we first arrived! Our stay was as close to perfect as we could've hoped for. Thank you to everyone at All Alaska, we hope to see you again next year!
I went to All Alaska Outdoors to fish and hunt ptarmigan. The fishing was good and the ptarmigan hunt was fabulous. My group also hunted grouse and ducks. Everything was awesome. The ptarmigan hunt location was the most beautiful I've ever hunted in, the plane trip was stunning, the dogs hunted so hard and found so many birds. Bob and Eric were really fun to hunt with. I'm looking forward to going back.
Great experience!! These folks make you feel at home the minute you arrive and really take care of you. The fly out trip (ultimate) was amazing -- that flight is something else. Bob is an awesome pilot and a great guide. I did the Lower and Upper Kenai too and had a great time. Bob, Tess, and the rest of the staff were awesome and the fishing was great. I look forward to coming back next year! And will stay longer!
We spent a week at All Alaska Outdoors Lodge in June 2023 and I already can't wait to plan my next trip. The whole team was fantastic and we got into some great fishing. The ultimate flyout was by far the highlight of our trip to Alaska and we caught some amazing fish. I highly recommend All Alaska Outdoors Lodge for anyone looking to fish the Kenai area. The lodge itself was fantastic and right on a lake that was full of trout. We left with a box full of salmon and getting it home was easy.
Fantastic trip with All Alaska Outdoors and Dr. Bob Ledda. We hunted for ptarmigan on the Kenai peninsula and across the Alaskan range. Our hunt was highly successful. We also spent time on the Kenai river. Cannot recommend this trip enough and the experience from All Alaska Outdoors enough.
We spent the first full week in June here fishing and hiking. The suites by the lake are amazing! Spacious and comfortable. Tessa and Shay arranged river fishing trips for 3 days for 4 and a fly out fishing trip for 6 of us. Overall, everyone caught nearly their limit of salmon each day with the help of the fishing guides. The fishing guides and fish processor were all so kind and helpful. We cooked some of the salmon on their grills for dinner and still brought plenty home. Highly recommend.
