My favorite hotel to stay in by far. Not only has it been my favorite for years for the quality, location and amenities, there has been a massive and noticeable staff improvement as well.
The first noticeable change are the string lights. Incredibly inviting, modern and I firmly believe they should be permanent.
We were welcomed by Magda, who not only told us everything we needed to know but gave us invaluable travel tips to Europe. Truly a delight.
The rooftop bar and pool (which is my favorite) is run by an incredible team of David, Christian and Garrett. It’s a 180 on the customer experience. The gave all the credit to the bar manager Gina which speaks very highly of their character and respect for her.
We will be back, the welcoming atmosphere was above and beyond.
Recently I had SUCH a good experience here that I had to keep returning while in Tempe! The rooftop has a great vibe and the food was great, but Gina made the experience! From her specialty holiday cocktails to her excellent service & charming personality, she provided service and expertise that’s hard to find! Definitely returning soon to try the other holiday creations, which were as delicious as they were beautiful!
Great bar located at the top of the Canopy Hotel, open to the public! Awesome atmosphere with outside covered area with heat in the winter. The views of downtown Tempe are prime! Holiday drinks are creative, delicious, and beautiful. Bartender Garrett is friendly and cares for his craft.

Great late lunch and cocktails on this fantastic rooftop bar! Could not think of a better place to spend a beautiful winter day in Tempe! Great festive cocktails and atmosphere and our server Sophie was amazing!
GINA at the Canopy By Hilton downtown Tempe is THEEEEEEEE best. Give this woman a EVERYTHING she’s great. We love her customer service, attitude and of course the drinks. 10/10 start for Gina.

We’ve stayed here a few times and it’s our favorite place- the strings lights are are such a lovely touch and so welcoming. David, Christian and Garrett have been the best upgrade.
