Stopped by here and walked the whole thing in about an hour and a half. Peaceful, quiet, and easy to walk. It wasn't too busy either. My only concern is how slippery the plywood(located on some parts of the bridge at the entryway of the parking area at Elk Lodge on 23rd) was--be careful walking on it(especially if your shoes lacked traction, like mine) and avoid it, if possible!
Hello the Alfred A. Ring Park 🏞 is a nice nature trail to come take your dog for a walk or your friends or family. If you enjoy nature and animals like I do this is the place to visit.🤩 I really enjoyed the nature trail I seen beautiful 🦋 butterflies I would love to come again...🥰🤗🐕
Nice neighborhood park, shaded trail, leashed dogs allowed with some drop off locations for dog bags. It has a few loops but the majority of the path requires doubling back. Pull in by the elks lodge not apartments. Parking is available but hard to see on Google maps.
Such a relaxing place to take a walk and get away from life!
Wonderful park so much pretty scenery and open restrooms but needs a little trash cleanup in river, otherwise nature at it best!
Multiple offshoots to the trail with a small park and pavilion along one of the trails. A few boardwalks, creeks and ponds with lots of plants and animals to look at. A fun place to walk.
It’s a nice quit park! Great place to escape the heat! It is dog friendly!
I love coming to this park. I bring my dobie with me and he enjoys it as well (must be leashed). It’s all nature beautiful; lots of birds, plants, trees to admire. The trail is perfect for a stress relieving walk or getting a nice workout (it has some nice inclines). There are multiple entrances to the creek which my dobie loves to go in and get refreshed. There is a small playground next to a shelter which has some tables. It’s very peaceful and I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a relaxing time.

A peaceful place to sit at in the evening and night. In the afternoon you can hear the chants of "Hare Rama, Hare Krishna" by the Krishna Lunch folks. They even play on a Harmonium sometimes. Well maintained park. I have spotted a snake there twice s
Nice little walking path. Itâs not too long, so i wouldnât consider it a work out. But i enjoyed seeing a bunch of tiny frogs everywhere and learning about some native plants
The beautiful example of an aged Live Oak, is the largest example in the entire state of Florida. A breathtaking living giant that is over 30 feet in diameter, 85+ feet tall, and its branches reach out so far one even had to be supported. This "park"
Little gem! Great walks. Very uneven paths with lots of tree roots l, downed limbs, if you need to be aware of this. If you go off the main path into the smaller ones, you have some inclined to deal with also.
Off the main path is where the best vi
Beautiful park with a shaded playground! Lots of picnic tables under the trees and pavilion, a sand area with tons of communal toys, and an open field for throwing a ball or frisbee. Great experience!
Green tree Park is very nice, neat and clean. Parks and recreation just needs to empty trash cans a little more often so that over the weekends they're not full.

This hole in a wall bakery is one of the best representations of Latin American baking in Gainesville. I bought 1 of everything on the front displays for my wife's birthday. Despite a slight language barrier, the owners are extremely welcoming and wi
Such a wonderful place! I love that they make sure every dog is registered and up to date on their shots to keep a safe environment. Food trucks, drinks, and staff are lovely! Definitely worth stopping by. :)
This is One of the best Mexican restaurants in this location. I would recommend any of their food or margaritas with the fresh fruit. Iâve never gotten a bad drink or meal from here.

This place is too cute. The property is charming and the owner and staff are more than accommodating. We came back a second time and extended our stay, we like it that much. So close, to some many things to do. I highly recommend a stay in this adora

I visited here with two of my friends. Germains has been on our list of places we needed to try before winter break. We tried the Korean fried chicken, classic, and the hot honey chicken sandwiches. As expected from a fried chicken restaurant the chi
Jose was a great server. This was our first time and the food was fantastic. Drinks are fruity but smooth. Loved the tequenos, arepas and pabellon entree! So flavorful!!
Best little place to relax and listen to some good music every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3 to 6. The Bartender is the best in Gainesville imo... Friendly environment to come and chill.
