Alexander's Landing Resort - Hotel in Monticello - 5088 E Indiana Beach Rd, USA

Tracy was incredibly helpful. We were staying up the road and our room literally caught fire with us asleep in the room... (due to outdated wiring) at 6:30 am we were stranded with all we could save in the bed of our truck. Tracy, not only was very helpful but she made us feel so reassured that we were going to be in a safe place, and it was a comple 180° turnaround from the sketchy dump that literally caught fire while we stayed there, Upon arival the place was so clean and so cute the bedding was fresh and there were so many extras we weren't even expecting. If your looking for a cute clean place to stay at a great price I highly recommend Alexander's landing. Oh and the view from the hot tub was amazing!!!

Recent stay with family, overall not bad … but the pool was cold and not really user friendly and that was something the kids looked forward too, disappointing. Penthouse could be better stocked, only 2 trash bags, no Kleenex and 1 towel and 1 dish cloth in kitchen no salt or pepper. Beds very uncomfortable, loved the countertop ice maker though!

Dirty towels still hanging on the bath door. Hideabed had a bar in the middle and couldn't sleep on it. Charge for not taking out trash, and if dishes aren't washed. Bed had wheels on it a d rolled when you sat on it. $150 a night. Never again! And the door in the hot tub wouldn't close once opened.

While there were no staff on the grounds when we arrived, they quickly returned my call for a room. The rental unit #7 was small but very clean. It was peaceful the night we were there and in the morning we enjoyed coffee on the nice deck. Yes! We would recommend!

The room was very clean, area was quiet. The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to the fact that I never received a check in email so was very lost on how to get into our room. While there we reserved a stay for May for the whole family! We look forward to another good experience.

The resort and the room are beautiful and the location is great. However, In the celebrity room there is a locked door which there were computer alerts that we heard (several times) and then the next morning we were woken up to loud talking and thought someone was in our room. It appears that behind the locked door was an office and the employees had zero regard for the guests staying in the room. I also didn’t feel very safe knowing people could walk through that door. Additionally as they disclose, parking is an issue. We didn’t even have a place to park and unload and load. The amenities are great but we never got to enjoy them since there was a larger group there using them. I wouldn’t recommend for just a couple, but it’s a great place if you are with a large group. Room was up to date and clean, but disappointed a bit in the rest.

Best place to stay if you're going to Indiana Beach. The calm water of the ideal zone makes this a must rent if you're looking for a rental with covered boat docks. The only downside is the parking. Otherwise I will stay here every time!

We stayed in the celebrity room. The top itself was great. Very clean, lots of space, and comfortable. However, there is one door that is locked. Come to find out the next morning when it sounded like people were talking in our room, that it’s an office or something and the staff was very loud and it woke us up. View and outside space was nice but couldn’t enjoy it much because larger groups took over the space and the amenities. Would be a great place if you had a large enough group but wasn’t great just for the two of us. Sad because it really is a nice, updated place.
