Aldrich House Bed & Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in Williamsburg - 505 Capitol Ct, USA

This is my new go-to recommendation for people when staying in the area. Tom and his wife were gracious hosts, very accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, Tom was full of great local information, and the location is absolutely perfect whether you are walking around Colonial Williamsburg or driving just a few minutes to Busch Gardens. My husband and I would 100% stay here again.

Very elegant and clean house. We stayed in the Lewis room and it was very comfortable. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk over to Colonial Williamsburg and less than a 15 min drive to the outlets and Busch Gardens. Tasty breakfast each morning, the sausage gravy and biscuits were my favorite. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

What a great place to stay! Super nice and knowledge hosts. Delicious and hearty breakfasts each morning. Comfortable rooms. Walking distance to downtown Colonial Williamsburg. It just all adds up to a perfect weekend. The Pattons couldn’t be any more helpful and friendly. The Colonial-inspired decor with the large murals take you back in time. We stayed in the Lewis Room and had three great nights of sleep. There are TVs in-room and WiFi throughout the house. The back porch is relaxing and lends itself to having some nice evening conversation. We would 100% stay there again when we come back to “the Burg!”

Pros: Cute room, great pillow selection, proximity to historic colonial Williamsburg, and owner recommended a great place for dinner. Cons: The room was unbearably hot at night, the bed was really hard so we didn't sleep well, you can hear people walking/talking throughout the house when in your room, and the breakfast (served at 8:30am to everyone at one table) was just ok.

We stayed at the Aldrich House Bed & Breakfast for a much needed girls weekend this November. Tom and Sue are wonderful hosts, and truly welcome you into their home. The location is perfect to visit Colonial Williamsburg and the surrounding areas. The full breakfast is one of the best I’ve had and the conversation at the table was very enjoyable. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from Williamsburg Winery on the back deck next to the gas fire pit, which was a perfect end to one of our days. I highly recommend a stay in this charming B&B. A large immaculate house, extremely clean and comfortable room. The breakfasts were excellent, an egg dish, a breakfast meat, a breakfast carb (we had French toast one day, banana pancakes the next) and a bowl of mixed berries. All the food was very fresh and delicious, served family style at a table around which all the guests sat, the Host at the head. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the history and attractions of the local area, we learned quite a bit while we had breakfast.

Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. Our hosts Tom and Sue were a great help to us, they gave us great suggestions for must see attractions and good restaurants. Tom is very knowledgeable about the history of Williamsburg and was kind enough to share stories over our morning coffee. Breakfast was always wonderful!

All recent reviews, including mine, reflect an AWESOME stay with Tom & Sue Patton. They are incredibly hospitable. Their B&B is beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed in the Patton room. It was quiet, and well appointed. The breakfasts were tasty and plenty of everything. The location is excellent, a short 5 minute walk to the Capitol bldg on DOG street. Plus, Tom offers an exceptional private tour for a very reasonable fee. This is a MUST stay if you're heading to Williamsburg, Jamestown or Yorktown.
