Alderman's Ford - Park in Lithia - 9625 Canoe Launch Rd, USA

Had a great day paddling down the river. Slightly faster than normal, but made for fun paddle. Stopped at the lunch spot and sat in the river on the rocks and ate out lunch. A few tricky areas, but navigatable without getting out of your boat

Went for the walking trail. It was a great paved path. 1.8 miles took us around 2 hours with a 20month old who likes to walk on his own. Stopped for a snack lunch we brought at the canoe launch. There's also an elevated boardwalk which was beautifully surrounded by the river and nature.

The nature trail is beautiful and we really love launching our kayaks here and paddling all the way to Lithia Springs State Park. We absolutely love coming up here. I believe it might be the closest cleanest Spring near me and it’s not far from home.

One of the best parks in Central Florida. A hidden gem. Plenty of trails, great scenery & wildlife, and a nice, big traditional park where you can have a picnic or BBQ. The highlight is the boardwalk area, which takes you deep into a Florida jungle. November 2022 visit: Hurricane Ian gave the park a real beating, but the crew has already cleared a lot of the debris. Unfortunately, some damage was done to the boardwalk—but most of it is still accessible.

Nice 1.8 mile paved and boardwalk path for walkers runners and bikers. Dogs welcome on a leash. Thete is a $2 parking fee which is machine based and only takes dollar bills. It also doesn't give any change.

This a great place to bring your family. Nice place to exercise, walk the dogs, have a bbq, or just get out and explore. There’s a nice set up of equipment around a trail with water views. There are also picnic tables and covered pavilions to entertain. I’m very thankful for the dog water bowls sponsored by the local girl scouts.

Enjoy taking my dog here for walks, the path is paved with a decent amount of shade. Parking is $2

Loved the paths and easy accessibility. Shaded and lovely with a stunning boardwalk over the river. Will be back!
