Friendly bartenders. The signature drinks are quite tropical for my tastes, and may be for you if you don't tend to like sweet/fruity drinks, but I did order the white Russian and a negroni, and they were good. Inside was a chill vibe. Outside had live music and was fairly loud, hard to find seating outside and the tables left were right in front of the band... it's quite loud. If you don't enjoy that, don't come at a peak time (I was there on a Friday night). I will be back at this bar, however either with ear protection or not at peak hours.
This was my favorite seat down bar where I felt safe and welcomed. I happened to usually have the same bartender who has been so polite to me.
One day a different bartender was there and she was rude and had inappropriate behavior towards the situation. I can have issues speaking clearly due to a bit of social anxiety. She asked for my ID which is fine though a bit annoyed as she was going to serve me without asking until I stumbled my words. She is screaming for it and scanning it up and down. At this point I just wanted to left alone as I know I could not be in any legal trouble as it is my real ID. She then screamed out the days till I needed to update my licenses and it wasn't like "Hey just so you know". I made it clear to her that I require a particular license for my career and was told by a state trooper to get it done all at once to avoid paying more money. Then she wanted to be nice and respectful....and I left a tip in case she was just having a bad/stressful day.
I might come back but will never order from her
Service can be slow when they're busy, but it's still excellent. You can order pretty much any drink you want. It's a classy place. Space is tight when it's crowded.
Very fun bar. Cool atmosphere great drinks
Great location for drinks and socializing. Areas for smoking too. Visited here again on 5/28/2022.
Great place for a group it intament couple. Outside area for smokers. Low lighting. Atmosphere is like a local hidden London pub. A must visit. When the weather is nice street side tables. Just a great addition to Tuscaloosa.
Great low-key vibe. Off the strip in Tuscaloosa; a good place to grab a beer with friends or just belly up to the bar by yourself. Pinball and arcade cabinets in the back as well, a definite place to stop if you're in Ttown
Update January 28, 2022:
The Alcove now has a pinball arcade room! Such a surprise and so fun. There is even a Ms. Pac Man. 😊
Great beer selection, super nice bartender (Rebecca), and as always nice clean cool interior with an international feel. You can actually talk and conduct business here, like in a real Irish Pub. Although the sound system is excellent (fun music mix), and there are several tvs great for sporting events-- no house electronics beat you up or keep you from having conversations. Highly recommend!
Kayla was very sweet down to earth if i would have to rate my experience with her & just the atmosphere in the store in general it would be a 10+ and beyond. Her wanting to help me and educating me on most of their product was very helpful she was su
I Googled âbest coffee in Tuscaloosaâ and this came up! Game on! Being the coffee snob I am, challenge accepted! Maps brought me to the address but it wasnât apparent that I was here. The gold letters on the glass door made it hard to distingui
I love getting custom spray tans here. Theyâre very attentive to detail and I NEVER turn orange. Itâs also always super clean around the salon and in the tanning beds.
The service was very expedient. I ordered my graduation apparel and the same day received an email that my items were ready for pickup. They also let me know one part of my order was no longer in stock and the money for that particular item was refun
Great people, great place to stay close to all restaurants, shopping centers, 2 mile commute for my wife to hospital, great place for TRAVELING NURSES to stay everything is with in 2 miles.
This unique little coffee house is tucked away on a side street off The Strip in Downtown Tuscaloosa. Itâs a friendly place that offers a large space full of cozy sitting areas great for conversations and studying. It kind of reminds me of the â
Wonderful local brewery! Yaay Bo Hicks!! Great beer selection. Cool atmosphere. Food was fresh and so good. Best pretzel ever. Cuban sandwich was excellent. Big selection of hot dogs. Pinball machines! Highly recommend.
The Belgian Waffle were amazing! My daughter had the breakfast sandwich, it was delicious as well! Water with this meal, but, leaving she got a speciality ice coffee, I got the HH special coffee, hot. Both were delicious. Love HH. Please get a locati
