Albertsons - Grocery store in Orcutt - 1120 E Clark Ave, USA

They are spiffing it up there in those photos, but now it's all done, and it's very nice!! The store is finished and very nice. Well stocked! Good deals, especially if you are on the app and use it.

Great place to shop. If you like to save read their circular and get their app to add "just for u" coupons to your shopping list. I've saved hundreds of dollars within a year. I mostly buy organic and gluten free groceries. So it's a must have.

Very large grocery store, well stocked with diverse brands for most products. Clean and well maintained, conveniently located in and near residential area of town. Place in an appropriately sized neighborly mall with shops appropriate to a residential area

What is going on with produce? No onions at all, late afternoon yesterday empty shelves, a few sad looking cabbages and loose carrots all snipped at the bottom. I asked someone why they do that and was told he was taught to do it that way. I pointed out that cutting into product unnecessarily affects it's freshness, PLUS makes it look like the store wanted to remove evidence of a less-than-quality product. Don't mess with the produce!! Today I went back for cabbage, below photo is what they stocked overnight. Every. Single. One. is limp, curled, soft, old. Every one. And charging 99 cents per pound for product that clearly is at the end of it's use by date, if not past it. Seriously? I would not touch that for 50 cents a pound. Seriously bummed. I've relied on Albies for produce; it's close and convenient. But today I wasted my time going there. Is your store, (like apparently every other business these days), no longer taking any pride or care in what you offer your customers? I know there are people who don't mind less fresh food, but only if it's discounted appropriately. But I also know EVERYBODY would prefer to be able to rely on quality, fresh produce.

The bakery is trash. I specifically asked for the idk in the iPhone message bubble on the cake as a joke. It definitely doesn’t look anything like the iPhone message bubble

This Albertsons has more variety than other Albertsons I have visited. A Starbucks is located inside and a redbox outside. There is a good variety of cakes available. Everything looks pretty clean and organized. There is also a DMV machine where you can renew your registration and get your sticker right away. Very convenient place to shop.
