Albertanos Mexican Food - Gillette - Mexican restaurant in Gillette - 106 US-14 #16, USA

Food was exceptional! The service was 10 / 10 amazing, and the atmosphere was very clean and smelled great! There was a sign that stated they were open 24/7, and after eating here I didn't get sick at all, unlike most the other restaurants in town. I think I've found my new favorite place to go!

The gentleman at the front counter is awesome! He always has a smile for everyone! Their food is great, with lots of variety and very reasonable prices! We probably come here too often, but how could we not? Plenty of seating in the lobby, and clean.

Stayed in Gillette for a couple weeks and ate here about 3x. Every time the food was great, the Wyoming fries are fantastic. The breakfast burrito is also very good. It’s pricey. I paid 40$ for 4 burritos, which isn’t outrageous by 2023 standards but I also had the chorizo replaced with grilled chicken and for some reason it was a 8$ up charge one time and nothing another time. The gal at the front is great, so is the taller man. The shorter man missing a couple teeth is hard to communicate with and is overall pretty rude. Saw me come in, acknowledged me, then waited a good 7-8 mins to come up and take my order. Pretty inconvenient when I’m trying to get to work. Overall the food is what you’d expect.

We love love love the food here. Queso is delicious. I wish it was more consistent. The burritos and tacos are delicious. Love their carnitas, bean & beef, breakfast, and Pollo asado meat and burritos. Their torts are very delicious too! Sometimes the ordering is difficult and I speak Spanish so I'm not sure what the deal is with that. Overall we love it here.

As a person who was born and raised in L.A. Mexican food is very, very important to me. In opinion the best Mexican food in the world comes from los angeles. Moving to Gillette a year ago my heart was crushed that there wasn't a single decent taco shop anywhere around. It wasn't until I found Albertanos that I actually thought I might be able to survive in this town, Alahandro's is actually pretty good too but I need those authentic east L.A. tasting tacos. Thank God this place is here! I didn't find it for a while because it was in a gas station but don't let that perturb you. It's 100% legit. My kid loves going too and playing outside. The service is so good it's ridiculous, these guys are such sweethearts and obviously love what they do, as they should. Thank you guys for being here, you mean so much to me and my family. If they ever close I'm moving south.

It's shares a building with a gas station so it's not the best atmosphere. The food was good enough. The burritos are very large. My issue was that my Carne asada burritos had a lot of fat in it, which ruined it for me. I want to be able to eat my burrito without pulling chunks of fat out of my mouth. The prices, though, are rather fair for what you get.

This place surprised me it’s located in a gas station where a burger king use to be located so it has a walk up counter to order your food. But the food is really good I had the carne asada fries with a fried jalapeño. It’s kid friendly since the play ground from bk is still in the restaurant. So if you want to sit down and enjoy your food and watch your kids play take a detour off of I90 and get you a quick bite of some good Mexican food!!!!

This is the best Mexican food in Gillette. If you like Mexican food, but can only find tex-mex around here-- go to this place. It's not Tex-mex. Also there is a very sweet, positive and upbeat guy running the drive through! =)
