Albemarle Inn - Featured Reviews (148)
This was our first time ever staying at a B&B. We found everything pure perfection. The kitchenette is open 24 hours with fresh sweet tea, lemonade, coffee available. You are also able to use the fridge for your personal items. The owner leaves sharpies to label your stuff. Our room was beautiful with a claw foot tub. Robes and toiletries were given to use. The linens were so fresh!!! They smelled so good. Delightful clean scent. The house was also very clean and tidy. The grounds were stunning with a beautiful small garden area. Breakfast was a lovely two course meal. The owner was so sweet and attentive. I enjoyed watching her converse with every guest. Our entire visit was nothing short of a delightful, relaxing experience. We will definitely be back and we have already had so many asking about this B&B via our social media per our pictures.
We loved the Inn. We were prepped with arrival instructions via text and email, along with requests for any food restrictions. When we arrived, Sara, the host, was warm and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable. We were only there for a quick night, but will definitely go back next time we are in town!
We had a great last minute stay at the Albemarle Inn. We booked the week before and were very fortunate that there was a Tuesday night available. The inn and the grounds are beautiful. It is situated in a charming quiet neighborhood. The staff are all very sweet and incredibly helpful. Our room, the Garden Room, was lovely. The beds, especially the sheets, were wonderful. The breakfast was not to my taste but my friend enjoyed hers so probably just a personal preference. The fresh chocolate chip cookies were very welcome. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
We just booked this on a whim. The Grove Park Inn had no available rooms and we were going to the folk festival in Asheville. The inn surpassed our expectations, and we quickly booked it for a future event! The place is elegant, comfortable, quiet, clean, and was perfect for us! The rooms are all different and each is beautiful and comfortable.|One of the best features was the breakfast. One of us has a terrible food allergy, and they willingly worked with us to provide a good breakfast! We alerted them ahead of time. A small kitchen downstairs had a pitcher of tea or lemonade in the refrigerator, and a station for hot tea or coffee. We generally don’t care for bed and breakfast places, but this one changed our minds. We felt like we were guests in someone’s large elegant mansion. The porch and yard are even lovely to sit in!
The perfect combination of sophistication and comfort—we felt pampered without being overwhelmed by formality. Breakfasts were delicious and not too much. Being able to charge our EV was a great perk. We had Juliet’s Chamber and enjoyed having a private balcony. Perfect.
This inn is the definition of “southern hospitality.” I cannot recommend it enough! The staff is impeccable and the breakfast was 10/10. They are so accommodating and kind. Beds were very comfy, chocolate chip cookies were delicious, coffee was wonderful, and staff was out of this world amazing! Def recommend requesting the Juliet Chamber Thank you all for hosting us!
Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful home with charming rooms. Yummy breakfast in the sun room to start your day. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee. Treats were available when we came back from our adventures.
Wonderful in every way! We debated here or a hotel downtown and we are so glad we chose here! Our room was excellent (we got upgraded to Juliet’s Chamber) and we spent most our time sitting on the balcony drinking tea and lemonade and reading. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies working here were so lovely. Plus the bed was super comfortable. This will definitely be our new getaway when we come to Asheville.
My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay over the New Years holiday weekend. We very much appreciated the attention given to the suite and the magnificent breakfast presentation each morning.
Our hosts John and Susan were not only attentive but cordial
Alicia was the perfect hostess during our 2-night stay - nothing was too much to ask. The rooms are well appointed and cozy, the common areas are welcoming and the special touches are great. Happy hour commences promptly at 5pm, coffee and soft dri
I was hesitant getting a spray tan because it had been years since I had one! Hannah made me feel very comfortable during the whole process and was a master at what she does. My tan turned out great and made me feel so amazing in family pics! She was

Great experience! From first reaching out with general questions, to a quick and easy process of getting signed in to classes. The owner was great with communication. I walked into the 4:30pm class with Coach Donivan and with three years experience m
This place is so great. Everything from the indoor fireplace, to the hot tub just outside the bedroom, to the HEATED FLOORS in the bathroom (not to mention heated toilet seat and bidet, even a heated towel rack!) They take it a step (or twelve) furth
Canât believe I just found this hidden gem not far off of Thompson Street! One of the few coffee shops open at 7 am with a variety of coffee/espresso based drinks, hot cocoa bar, and breakfast tacos.
Got a dirty chai and egg/cheese burrito - both
