We were traveling into Sheridan from out of state for a convention. Our flight didn’t land until after hours. There was no way for us to check in after hours, as we would arrive in town until 1 hour after close. We were unable to have a local friend check in for us and pick up the keys, and they were unable to issue a refund. While this situation was frustrating, it is also understandable. We booked the hotel room for 4 nights. We had to stay at a different hotel with late check in for the first night. When we showed up for check in the next day, we were told we could not check in because our reservation started the day prior, even though we were booked and already paid for the 4 days. The hotel operates as if they don’t want people to stay there. Thankfully we were able to get a full refund.
Cheap, no-frills motel with rates to match. No laundry or breakfast but the rooms are clean, if slightly dated. They do have a minifridge and microwave. Staff was helpful. Great location in Sheridan, only a ten minute walk from Main Street and the world-famous Mint Bar.
Rooms are clean and well maintained. Overall good for the price paid.
Very small mom and pop motel in a high tourist area. No frills, and parking can be a problem if your vehicle is too big. However, the rooms were clean and showers were hot. A/c was a little on the weak side, but adequate. No breakfast but McDonald’s is close by. Guy at the front desk was nice and helpful and I’d stay again if I ever needed a room in Sheridan, WY again.
Guy at the front desk was nice and engaging. This isn't a top notch 5 star hotel but for $50 a night it was great. Hotel is old but rooms have been updated. Full HD quality TV with dish and HBO. I must have had a pet room I had a tad of cat smell from previous guest. Room was clean and quiet. AC worked amazingly. I'd stay again.
😇 This motel is alright for the price for a night or two. But the guy that they have managing the motel is a €\/×+%/*€€ & I'm being nice I was going to stay for a week 1st he was mad that I had a two bed room. Since I was a single I should only have 1 bed & if I have two bed I better not sleep in the 2nd bed. I was going to be there a week that was 4 nights in each bed.(does anybody but me remember when they changed the bedding daily). Well not this guy he said his middle name was Mohammed but I believe his middle name is rude cause that is the way he is doesn't know how to smile or heaven forbid be nice. I believe he thinks he is doing you a favor just letting you stay in the motel it doesn't matter that you are paying to stay there. And it will be 3 days before you can get a clean towel. He also hates pets wants $25 a night for your fur baby or you can just leave them in the car. Honest that's what he told me it doesn't matter that it's 20 degrees out there. I told him he should sleep in the car. So really if you must stay here decide that 1. Don't need clean towels for 3 days 2. Only get a room with 1 bed know matter how many of you there are. 3. If you have a pet be prepared to pay a big deposit or let them sleep in the car with the desk clerk This guy is just a desk clerk cause he will never be the owner of anything at least not till he does something about his winning personality. Please reread his answer how many motels are only going to let you stay a shorter time. They allow long term guests. When I checked in your desk clerk was upset because the reservation on my phone showed that I had reserved a room with two beds & he acknowledged it at the time. Did he mention that to you mr owner? Or did he tell you that I called the office that monday morning asking to stay another night or two because of the weather & that he asked for a room rate $20.00 above your website price. Funny thing if I was suppose to not stay so long why was your clerk still going to let me stay an additional nights. Okay mr. owner go ahead and cover for your clerk & pretend that you really know what's going on. You don't want to believe me that's fine but remember that once upon a time someone tried to tell you what was really happening.
Do not believe the OLD reviews. They are upgrading this motel and it is excellent. Our room had new carpet, a new fridge, a new microwave,and other upgrades. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a mom & pop type motel and is great at what it is. Don't expect a sauna or hot tub or pool. This isn't it. But for a well run, upgraded two-star place it is excellent.
Motel is old but clean. When it came to cleaning our room daily that is non existent. We had to throw our own trash and had to ask for clean towels. Not many outlets. Small bathroom. Only one plug worked in the bathroom. No place to hang towels or clothes. I’d look for a better place. We had good cable and internet too
