Second time coming here with as a group with horses. Trails are great and well kept. Amanda one of the park staff was super nice and helpful! Facilities we’re clean. Only complaint is the trails don’t seem to have the intersections numbered the way the map has it laid out making I a little difficult to navigate.
Walked various equestrian trails and it was amazing! Well kept trails and several to choose from. The ranger stated there are approximately 20 miles of trails for equestrians and hikers. Definitely a must do if you enjoy the outdoors!

Went geocaching with family, 12 finds today. Huge grass parking lot to accommodate horse trailers and their occupants. There is horse water trough, picnic shelters, picnic tables, portable toilets, and a trash can. Did not notice a spigot for people but there may be one. 3mi trail loop we walked was dry and sunny with occasional log benches and shade. I did not see a pay station at this entrance but the entry at the main park is $5 per car.
Beautiful shaded trails. Some are shared with bicycles. Great place to ride.
Beautiful place but you need sturdy hiking boots, and real good knees! Having said that it is well worth the trip and the scenery is awesome!! Bring your camera!! It reminds me of prehistoric times!! Have great mountain biking trails as well as hiking, camping and equestrian camping and trails!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL trails to explore!
Stopped in Sunday April 2 2023 around 3pm and saw one house trailer and a few cars at the East entrance.

Had a great day paddling down the river. Slightly faster than normal, but made for fun paddle. Stopped at the lunch spot and sat in the river on the rocks and ate out lunch. A few tricky areas, but navigatable without getting out of your boat
