We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Marlin. We were greeted warmly by Marion upon check-in and recommended dining in the area. The Motel was immaculately clean from the common areas, rooms and pool. The staff was friendly and welcoming each day we crossed paths. With a good location in the Crest, footsteps from the beach and cleanliness, we will go back yearly.

Our stay at the Blue Marlin exceeded expectations. We were greeted by Samantha at the front desk who checked us in and gave us recommendations on what to do around town which we appreciated. The room and whole premise was comfortable and spotlessly clean, which is why I booked here in the first place from reading other reviews. I can’t imagine finding a cleaner or more updated motel in this area at this price point. The gentleman manager was there everyday and always friendly making sure the place was tip top shape. The staff reminded me of those at all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at who always acknowledge you with a smile on their faces and a kind word- so refreshing and really makes you feel at home. Improved wifi in the rooms and a folding luggage rack would have been the only things to consider for future improvement, but that is so minor. Being steps away from the beach puts the cherry on top for a fabulous stay in the Wildwood Crest. Cheers to these owners and their staff for running a fine establishment. We look forward to returning to the Blue Marlin again!

We have stayed at the Blue Marlin Motel in Wildwood Crest for 5+ years now. We love it there so much that we book next year's stay before we leave at the end of our vacation. Our favorite room is the 3rd floor Suite with an extra large balcony and an ocean view. The owners Mark and Marion keep this place immaculately clean. The beach is a few feet away and we look forward to seeing the dolphins play every year. Also it's just a short ride to Cape May. The owners are locals so they know the best places for food, entertainment etc. and have never steered us wrong yet. So happy we found this little piece of heaven we get to enjoy every year.

We stayed at the Blue Marlin for 2 days. The owner, when we were booking, was fantastic and found us 2 rooms together in the back deck area. The rooms were the cleanest I think we have ever seen. The staff was cleaning continuously and were so incredibly friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. A block from the beach and assigned room parking so your never left looking for parking at night when you come back.

Planned a nostalgia trip to Wildwood Crest for my sister who is not in great health and it has been many years since we were in Wildwood. Arrived and checked into our originally booked motel only to find out they placed us on the 3rd floor, then found out they had no elevator; my sister who is in poor health and was not able to walk up the 3 flights of steps. Although they were kind about it, they had no 1st floor suites and we should go try and find another place to stay. I can only say divine intervention led us to the Blue Marlin (it looked clean and available). Then I went in and Marion at the front desk was truly wonderful. Her smile just made me feel better right then. I was so afraid we would have to leave and drive back to PA without staying. Marion took very good care of us. Finding a room on the first floor, close parking and even helped us take luggage to our room. We were so happy with our stay...got to know all the friendly staff from the owners to the housekeeping and maintenance. They were all very kind and friendly. Marion would greet us every time we returned from somewhere and have great suggestions for dining out. I can't thank you enough, Mike, Marion, Gail, Negri (?), and Bill. Mike and Marion are very fussy with their hotel and I, as a guest am also very fussy....I would not have stayed there if it weren't taken care of. I have never met such nice people at any hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you all so very much for giving us a wonderful memory.

Spent a few days. The room and grounds are very clean. Every morning the grounds are cleaned. The staff is also very nice. The pool is also cleaned each morning we were there. The location to the beach is nice. Outdoor shower for the trip back from the beach. Would recommend to anyone. It's in a nice quiet section of the crest.

The Blue Marlin is really a nice place to stay. The rooms are very clean. The beds are comfortable along with the pillows. The pool is refreshing. A special Thank You to the owners Mark and Marion and their staff for a very pleasant stay. Looking forward to going back.

Big time outdated, especially the bathrooms. Not super clean, and with pretty much non existent daily cleaning (including changing the towels) - or alternatively it's so bleached when you move in, that need to keep doors and windows open for a while. Smoking area really close to the pool so the odour penetrates everywhere. Great location basically next to the most wonderful beach - but a short drive if going to the boardwalk (or would be ~1hr walk).
