The food was very good and came out quickly. The whole family loved the Al ha'esh experience! Kids were super happy with their meals and the adults enjoyed the shishlyk. Service was good and the price was more than reasonable, especially considering all the food we got. Will definitely come back.

Very authentic Israeli food with fresh pita and a lovely arrangement of Israeli accompaniments. I had the chicken skewers snd garlic string beans. The service was also good.

Great food! Place was packed with families so expect it to be loud. The atmosphere is simple, lots of tables and bar seating at the front of the restaurant. The mezze (appetizers) were great. Hummus was phenomenal, I typically do not like American style hummus. This was not that at all! It’s real hummus with choice of merguez meat. I had schnitzel and my dinner companion got 2 skewers of meat. They do have vegetarian options. I wish this place was closer to DC but it’s 100 percent worth the drive!

Visited at the of the day of The rally to support Israel, it was overwhelming day and decided to visit this restaurant on the way to New Jersey, restaurant was full, owner was accommodating and kind even though he was under tremendous pressure. The service was great and food was delicious with great selection. Truly recommend visiting🙏🇮🇱🙏

The absolute worst experience dining out ever. Took 30 minutes to get seated. silverware on table was dirty. The abundant salads that they advertise, they ran out of. The hummus tasted off, we sent it back. Instead of removing the charge from bill, they pro-rated it since we ate some of it. Ridiculous thinking on their part. Burger was not juicy, it was greasy. The bathroom was beyond filthy. I waited until I went outside! After arguing with manager, hummus charge was removed from the bill, but!!!, she added a 20% gratuity fee. On the menu, it is clearly stated a 20% gratuity charge will be added to parties of 8 people and up. We were a table of 4 adults and 1 child. Sneaky and highly insulting. Many of the staff were wearing shirts from Motis market That's really tacky. The wait staff ignored our table. Again, this was my absolute worst experience eating out. Not worth going to. Owners should be arrested for impersonating restaurantuers. Don't waste your time!! Better choice would have been to go to bed hungry. Awful!

Was in town and wanted to take my sister out. Portions are generous. Dishes lean toward the spicy side. Had the mixed grill and it was tasty. The fries were crisp and well seasoned. Staff was very nice. Would go again.

This is an AWESOME place!!! The atmosphere is great, the service is great, the food is great!!! A perfect trifecta! Do not hesitate, go, eat well and have a great time.
