I was really impressed with Al Basha! Very tasty food, probably my new favorite in the Dairy Market. Omar and Hayat were very friendly. I got a Chicken Tikka sandwich, delicious! They even threw in a little Mango juice for free, which was super tasty 🤩

has incredible food! The lamb gyro and fries I ordered were delicious. My husband ordered the chicken tikka platter which was not only incredible but also huge! Both dishes are large enough to share. The woman who took our order was so sweet and the owner, who is also the chef, popped his head out to thank us for our order. I recommend this place.
The food was great, specially the gyros. The stuffs were super nice and handled our large number of orders accurately. They also offered us complimentary sides and juice for free. And asked for any feedbacks.
This was our first time at this restaurant. I am happy that they choose dairy market as their location. It is in a very convenient spot for uva students. Food tastes really delicious. Iraqi cuisine was not available before in Charlottesville. Since, it is nice to have some iraqi food. Also this is Halal. Staffs were very nice and helpful. They even offered us free soups and juice as we ordered a lot.
What a great addition to the dairy market! The staff is very friendly, and the food is incredibly fresh and tasty. Hope these guys succeed, this place is well worth your time to stop and get some great Mediterranean food.
The falafel 🧆 was the BEST I’ve ever had! The Iraqi 🇮🇶 Kabob was amazing by. . . and the husband/wife team was soooo nice !!
