Al Ameer - Lebanese restaurant in Dearborn Heights - 27346 Ford Rd, USA

I visit my family in Dearborn at least 6 times per year. I enjoy trying Lebanese restaurants. On 01/27/2024, I visited Alamir Restaurant at the Dearborn Heights Location along with my 4 cousins. The restaurant was well lit, clean and spacious. It was nicely decorated and the noise was acceptable. We were welcomed and seated immediately. Then our waitress, SAJA, approached and greeted us with her hospitable and friendly attitude. After my cousins ordered their dishes, it was my turn. But I was still undecided. Ms. Saja suggested the stuffed lamb with confidence. Immediately I was convinced. Even though we ordered 2x grilled Lamb Chops, grilled Kafta, Chicken Shawarma and stuffed Lamb, the dishes arrived quickly. The restaurant had only fountain soda. I wanted can soda. Saja went on and beyond to make her customers happy. Saja went to a store nearby and bought me a soda can. That was a First Class Customer Service. May Allah reward her for her thoughtfulness and kindness. All dishes were large and had abundant amounts of food. My cousins enjoyed their choices. My Stuffed lamb dish can feed at least 2 persons. The meat was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The manager was friendly, hospitable and professional. She ensured that our dishes were prepared to our liking. I highly recommend the Dearbon Heights location for delicious, authentic Lebanese cuisine served by the First Class Customer Service Waitress, SAJA.

One of the best family oriented restaurants in Dearborn Heights! Whether you are ordering for small or large groups the food and service never disappoint. Lamb is always cooked to perfection, buttery savory rice, quality, clean, and fresh produce always used. We have ordered nearly everything on the menu and are always satisfied. The atmosphere is amazing and feels as if you’re walking into a warm and welcoming house with greetings from just about everyone including patrons. This particular night had 2 birthdays that the whole restaurant participated in. While it was not my child’s birthday, the server did ask him what his name was and to our delight played a personalized birthday song while everyone clapped! It was a heartwarming gesture and my son’s smile was literally ear to ear. Thank you to the chef for creating fantastic meals and the staff for providing the best service. If I could have given 10 stars for quality of food, service and atmosphere I would have! A special thanks to Bilal and his team, you guys are truly professional and very personable ❤️

The food is outstandingly delicious. Everything I've had has blown me away. The portions are very large, so I still feel like I get a good value for the price. During my first visit, I realized that the decor was much fancier than I anticipated - My date and I were very underdressed that day, and we were very obviously gay men on a date - yet we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were each very kind and friendly toward us. I've already recommended them to several family members and friends, and will certainly come back often. :)

The service was amazing 👏 the waiter was honestly one of the best 👌 I've ever had.. anywhere. I don't remember his name but he had the section nearest the entrance Saturday June 24th. 🤔 the food was great. The bread was burnt but he quickly took it off the table once he saw it. He made sure we had everything we needed and more! This man 100% deserves to be manager of he isn't. The only bad review about the place is that it's not well kept. For such an amazing restaurant.... they need to update things that really do make a huge difference. I don't want to eat out of old, chipped, stained plates and cups. I don't want to sit next to glass that is broken or has old fine prints all over it. I hope these things can be fixed... for the restaurants sake and customers who want an extraordinary experience. All the photos posted show what I have written. I hope management reads this post and is able to act upon it! Other than that... great great 👍 👌

Amazing food! Truly the tastiest, most delicious, and made us get take out the next day! I am serious, visit this place. It will do you good.

The food was absolutely phenomenal we had the combo platter, It was absolutely delicious. Food was hot, fresh, and served expediently. The atmosphere was lovely, busy ,festive, and bustling, has absolutely stunning the decor, and they have a lovely elder going around pouring tiny cups of coffee .

Had an amazing time at Al Amer, the food is beyond great very good quality and variety in the menu. The service could use some improvement but all in all a great place to eat and I would very highly recommend trying it out if in town.

Total mess..not Al Ameer Quality !! Tabouli crisp but drowning in dressing - had to pour / drain out excess dressing.. Shish Kafta - skinny way over done..barely any onions / tomatoes - should NEVER have been served..or left kitchen !! Manager, Nora, had sandwich relayed - Sill thin meat but looked O so much better..should have been served this way. Told manager about excess dressing which makes Tabouli soggy.. Manager did not comp - sandwich - this is Al Ameer not 2nd rate restaurant...
