I am the BIGGEST fan of AKT Morristown! I moved to the northeast in July 2021 and quickly found my fitness home at AKT. Every single trainer is incredible and the classes are always exactly what I need - challenging but also dynamic to fit any fitness level. I modify in every single class and still get in an amazing workout. Not to mention all the fun challenges that push you to be your best and are SO worth it! I look forward to class almost every day and could never dream of going anywhere else! They cultivate a great sense of community & I encourage anyone who likes dancing under a disco ball to give it a try!

Where do I start with my love for AKT Morristown?! I was initially attracted to the gym in January 2021 when I saw a sign that said they offer dance classes. When I inquired and found out that your first class was free, it was a no brainer. I had to at least try it out. I took a Dance class with trainer Briana and immediately fell in love. I joined as an unlimited member so that I could take as many classes as I wanted (and at a reasonable monthly price!) I quickly learned that: A) AKT is far more than just a gym where I could dance to workout. The other classes include Circuit, Tone, Bands, Mixer, and Intro to AKT to name a few. The different classes have varying difficulties (but no matter what class you take, the trainer always offers modifications to make the exercises easier or harder.) Throughout the classes you’ll use equipment like weights, resistance bands, step up boxes, flexibility balls, foam rollers, and more. B) The entire staff makes working out extremely fun. Whether it’s the energy in the room during a class or the fun monthly events or challenges, I’ve never had a hard time getting my butt to class and I always walk out of the gym with a smile on my face. C) It is a community in there. You form friendships with other members. It never feels like you’re working out “alone.” Nor do you ever feel “judged” in a class, actually quite the opposite: extremely supported. D) You can opt to receive text messages for motivation and to hold yourself accountable. Just this past month, I found myself in a slump at the end of November. When AKT texted me to announce their December Bingo challenge, I immediately found the motivation that I was looking for to get back into my routine. I could go on and on, but I will end with the most important reason I love AKT: I finally am seeing results from my efforts, both physically and mentally. I am looking and feeling healthier than ever, and I couldn’t have done it without AKT Morristown!!

Great instructors. The app is easy to use for scheduling classes. I definitely felt my abs that same night. Circuit class is my favorite. Must try at least one class which is complimentary.

I have been going to AKT for a little over a year now and absolutely love it! The instructors are all so welcoming and provide great modifications and advanced moves for every level. The classes are great such great workouts as they all mix strength and cardio! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a super fun community, and a great workout!

I was so nervous to start at AKT, but from the minute you walk through the door you are supported and encouraged! I've gone from nervous to take classes to challenging myself to take more than one a day! I look forward to my time at AKT as it's amazing to be cheered on by this supportive community as you strive to be stronger!

I had a lovely trial workout for all the workouts they offer - bands, tone, circuit, and dance! If you’re in the market for a new routine, you should definitely check it out. All the staff were really nice and welcoming!

Such a fun workout! Really trainers who know what they’re doing and care about their members. The classes will work you hard, but give you something really unique to work with. I’ve only tried a few so far but am excited to work through all the class types. Also appreciated that their social media does a good job showcasing what the classes look like, too! Definitely recommend checking them out.

If you want to change your lifestyle, look no further!!! I have been a member of AKT for about four months now, and I never thought I would be the type of person to get up at 6 AM to work out but, I truly look forward to going to all the different workouts, chatting and forming relationships with all the great trainers, and being a part of the AKT community! AKT makes it easy for you to instantly get hooked in attending classes and you can book right from your cell phone when it is convenient for you. I have made AKT part of my regular day to day schedule and it truly spearheaded a domino effect of feeling great after each workout which has encouraged me to eat better, drink more water, and focus on my overall health. I also notice I am getting stronger and more agile through regularly working out and attending classes.. all while having fun!! Don’t wait any longer to begin putting yourself and your health first!
