I enjoyed the hibachi dining experience overall. The food, while okay, didn't stand out in terms of taste. The quantity of the dishes was satisfying, and the hibachi performance was entertaining. The service was prompt and attentive. However, I found the prices a bit high for the overall experience. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, enhancing the dining ambiance.

We ordered to have delivered. The food was timely. However, the food that we ordered was unfortunately terrible. They made us many things, including California rolls, but I’ve never seen the ingredients in the California rolls anywhere else including raw asparagus and large pieces of Romain lettuce. The rolls were not tightly wound, and fell apart immediately Inside the containers. The food had no flavor. We were highly disappointed after seeing all the good reviews. $90 down the drain. Would not recommend

Akira is a nice sushi and hibachi restaurant in the Rt 561 Voorhees Acme strip mall. Restaurant is in 3 sections, hibachi to the left, Sushi bar, tables and big screen TV showing hockey game and a 3rd section to the right. Thursday evening around 730 place was about half full. Ordered the 20 piece Sashimi regular ($25), came with very tasty miso soup and small salad. Sashimi plate was arranged with two servings of fish shaped into a flower bud and looked very appetizing. My server also asked and brought a bowl of rice to accompany my delicious meal. Restaurant has very dim lighting and appeared very clean. Service was attentive and quick. Only negative is I only had a few sips of soup and a mouthful of salad when my sashimi was delivered, seemed a little rushed. Overall a very good meal.

Upscale dining in casual atmosphere with the freshest sushi around. Chefs are amazing and service really good. Hot hibachi or sushi, in the neighborhood! BYOB keeps the price more affordable and selection up to you!

Generous portions of Spicy Kani Salad and Seaweed Salad, but I've had better Spicy Kani Salad. BYOB so we were able to bring and enjoy our wine. My favorite was the California Beach Roll. The seasonal roll was interesting & had almonds - unfortunately I cannot remember the name of it. Good date vibe.

What an amazing Japanese restaurant. I recommend anyone who likes or wants to try Japanese delicacy to this restaurant. I had Fire Roll, Octopus Sushi, Sea Urchin and Cavalier Sashimi and everything is fantastic.

There was a staple in my spicy tuna roll. Felt something hard in the roll while chewing. It was the staple. Requested a refund through DoorDash. They only refunded half, but we didn’t eat any of the food from that point for sanitary/safety concerns.

A group of us went here tonight for our friends 40th birthday. I’ve never been to an hibachi before. It was interesting and fun! The chef was impressive and did a few tricks with the food and spatula. There were a few other interactive tricks too and of course he did the big flame thing. Now personally it’s not my kind of place because I don’t eat seafood, but luckily they had a chicken & vegetable dish. I won’t return because it’s not really my type of menu, but the food did taste fresh, made literally right in front of you, and I appreciated the chef’s performance. It’s also very nicely decorated with a modern feel. I highly recommend anyone who likes hibachi and seafood to try this place.
