Akashi is one of my favorite places to eat at in Dayton! Their sushi is top of the line and I can never stop myself from ordering two different rolls from their sushi menu. I’ve tried their bibimbap and gyoza and those are also delicious! It seems that anything you get from this restaurant will really hit the spot so feel free to go out of your comfort zone!
This is by far one of the best restaurants in Dayton. I genuinely can't compliment this place enough! They have delicious food, excellent service, and such a clean and warm atmosphere. I love eating here alone, but I also love to take everyone I love to Akashi! I always find that their spicy ramen hits the spot, and I have never been disappointed by their sushi. I make it a point to get the gyoza every time i visit. Sooooo good! They also have a giant ramen 20 minute challenge!
Beautiful little restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. Our server was very kind and fast. The food also came out much quicker than expected. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had with immaculate presentation. Everyone had an amazing time and I’m so happy to have discovered this place. I highly recommend.
This is my favorite sushi place in the Dayton area! The food is phenomenal and the service is friendly. Some of my favorites are the Mya roll, the sweetheart roll, and the dragon roll, but everything is delicious! Update: the latest visit was fabulous as always! A++ Take a look a the photos!
This immediately became the local favorite of my fiancé and I after we first visited it a few months ago. The number of menu items is astounding, so much so that we have had several meals composed only of various combinations of appetizers. The servers are polite and professional, and we are always greeted upon entry and given a 'thank you' on our way out. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a penchant for Asian cuisine!
I moved here over 2 years but just discovered this place out! a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! great quality and freshness are their priority. Even tho they are short-handed but still not too long of the wait. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know that loves sushi really worth my 34 mins drive 😮💨❤️
We had a wonderful dinner, the service was very polite and attentive. The food was as delicious as it was beautiful. Certainly can tell a lot of care and pride goes into their food. We will certainly be visiting again!
I've been to a lot of Asian-inspired restaurants within the region, but I've never experienced an establishment like Akashi. *EDIT* I had to deduct one star because on a recent visit with my two kids, my bill was $10 higher ($85 before tip) than usual, despite my son ordering a less expensive dish. Prices have gone up... and that sucks to be honest. *EDIT* (They used to offer the following, but they removed it from the menu...) The best time to go [for sushi] is Monday through Thursday when there is a buy one, get the 2nd half off special. I personally go for the Akashi and Rainbow rolls (adding cream cheese, tempura, and Japanese mayo). Whenever my family and I have visited Akashi we've always experienced quality service, great-tasting food, and friendly hospitality. The food is always fresh and delicious each and every time we go there. It seems like the same two waitresses are there working all the time, but this is wonderful because they are absolutely on point every, single time. Lastly, it's kind of funny because the interior is a throwback to the 90s light-colored wood decor and it's just a really quaint atmosphere.
One of the best gyms you'll ever come across! The coaches are knowledgeable and caring. The classes are purposeful and challenging. There are just too many great things to say! If you want to a great, structured workout and an even better community,
