Hands down one of my favorite sushi restaurants for over 10 years. Love this place and as usual I'll always have the tuna tatami and the alex #2. Place was recently remodeled to have a way brighter atmosphere which I preferred it darker but still clean and tidy.
Me and my wife get the dane#2 and "sexy mama" respectively, and it's the best sushi we've ever had.
Only complaint is that their cheesecake is never available the couple times we've visited, but the Thai donuts were a nice substitution.
Best sushi ever, Sexy Mama is my favorite! They're always out of the tempura cheesecake when I go, but the sushi makes up for it 💕
This is an excellent place, sushi and everything we ordered was very fresh. Currently they are doing only take-out and everything is packaged in styrofoam boxes. I'll definitely come back when they re-open after the covid crisis is over.
First off I want to say that I absolutely love this restaurant. Definitely some of the best rolls in Miami. With that being said, I decided to try a few different dishes on my most recent visit. I ordered the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura dinner which I felt was average and had a bit too much breading and not enough shrimp. I also ordered the vegetable Udon noodles which were again okay, but had too much cooking oil for my preference. My girlfriend had the Rainbow Roll which she was happy with. I think I will stick with the sushi rolls when I go back.
Really nice small place off of a main street. Menu has a wide variety of things so if you are not a sushi person you can come here too. We did straight sushi and sashimi. The Sashimi sampler which had White Tuna, Salmon, and regular Tuna. Very fresh and was very good. All of the rolls we had were very solid. The interesting thing was the spicy tuna, this was very different than other places. This looked to be a tuna roll cut up,and set on the plate with a spicy sauce on the top of it. I am not sure how I feel about it. It was not bad, it was just different from what is normally served at sushi places. Would definitely come back here again when in Miami. There are a lot of things I would like to try.
The pictures on the order of the lunch special 14.00 or so this place is worth the drive do you want sushi go here there’s still in takeout moon only the dining room is closed but the place is busy as can be because the food is Awesome
The dinner menu looks awesome got to come back for dinner
I used to be a regular for dine-in lunch at Akashi before COVID-19 as it was my favorite Japanese spot since i work in the area.During the time Covid-19 was at it worst, they changed to take-out only so I patronized the restaurant only twice during that period, as I realized the food just didn’t taste the same as when I dined in.When Covid-19 passed and all other restaurants re-opened for dine-in,Akashi was the only restaurant still doing take-out only, which made no sense at all. However, when I saw that they re-opened for dine-in,I had to pay them a visit.I work in the area and I am not looking to spend too much on lunch so their lunch specials pre Covid-19 used to be perfect for me.I visited the restaurant for lunch this week and asked the waitress about their lunch specials, however she told me that they no longer have any lunch specials but I could get a combination dinner instead. From the time I heard that,I felt like leaving the restaurant.Instead of leaving right away,I took a few minutes to browse through the menu and when I saw the combination dinners were for $29.00,I was like no way I am paying that much for lunch when I can get a lunch special at another Japanese restaurant which is just as good as this restaurant for $10-13.I decided to leave the their restaurant without eating anything and go to another Japanese restaurant which was a few minutes away and I got a lunch special with the same items as their combination dinner for only $12.95.It was great and I think that will be my new go to Japanese spot.Management at Akashi has to realize that people are not looking to spend that much money at lunch so when you are asking them to pay $30 for a lunch, they will go elsewhere where the food tastes just as good,if not better and get it for $10-13.If they continue to operate in this way,I don’t see people patronizing their restaurant anymore and they will go elsewhere as there is no value for money at their restaurant as their is so much competition with regards to Japanese restaurants in the area which are way more affordable.

I donât know how Iâve never tried this place before⦠food was delicious , service and ambiance was great!! Patricia was so attentive and willing which made our lunch very pleasant ⦠my husband ordered the dinner special which was very good -
The best gym around! The coaches are fun but also push you to your limit. The people that attend are all really nice. The only downside is parking as it is sometimes hard to find but the garage next door has a free hour available.
Small Quaint park
With great shading and forestry this is a great spot to come and relax or have a small picnic. There is picnic tables and trash cans spread throughout the park as well as beautiful stone benches located in great shaded areas.

I've ordered from Pura Vida before but this is the first time I ate here. The service is excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. My food was delicious and it came out very fast. And the ambience is very cute and welcoming.
What a hidden jem ð! Great place for locals to just come and chill. They have board games, open mic nights and handmade crafts plus great tea. Would recommend it if you are looking for a place with a welcoming vibe.
What a great find! Excellent service, love the ambiance and had the best comfort food dinner. Fried chicken that was moist and full of flavor on top of yummy mashed potatoes. Followed by a skillet chocolate chip cookie. Delicious! Will definitely be
WHAT AN AMAZING FIND!!! Being born in Brazil, Iâm so used to and love Portuguese food, we were looking for a different option other than Cuban food in Miami hehehe and we came across Old Lisbon.
EXCELLENT food and service! Tainá was super helpful
I came here for the first time and I loved the ambience. The staff were so helpful and they answered all my questions. They also have a promotion for new customers where you get a free doughnut if you download their app. Itâs a warm, friendly donut
The place is really good. I can guess that is family owned and operated. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. I think that the only thing this place needs is a better location and upgrades to the restaurant.
