Akasha is one of my new favorite brunch spots. Fresh ingredients, well-prepared, delicious n a vibrant corner spot overlooking Washington Blvd in Culver City. Our initial service was great but follow-up and getting a check were a bit tedious. Will still be back as we liked Ashaka.

Modern cuisine. Nice service. Very friendly. Clean restaurant. Brunch menu was good. They have several croissant flavors. I got the Cream Cheese with Everything. It was delicious!

I had the onion rings for an appetizer. I wish there was something else to dip them in but they were still good! Then for an entree I had chicken Parmesan with broccoli. That was very good! The blueberry crumble was okay. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t my favorite. The person I went out with said the pork chops were amazing. The key lime pie was weird.

Yummy food and drink with good vegetarian options about at Akasha. We headed there with a party of 10 after an event at a nearby bookstore and they were able to seat us almost right away on the patio which had plenty of heaters to keep us warm. The staff was great and delivered the food quickly. My wife and I shared the Bali Tofu Curry which was beautiful and delicious, and the Arugula & Date Salad which also looked and tasted fantastic. Everything we saw brought out to our fellow diners really looked great and no one had a complaint about anything. Also took a few nibbles on the Garden of Carrots dish which, again looked gorgeous and tasted like a whole spiritual reinvention of carrots. They really pay a lot of attention to the visual impact the food makes and the flavors that they bring are a perfect match to that aesthetic. I also had the Golden Hour Cocktail which was bourbon based, though I didn't taste much bourbon in it. (So either that wasn't that match or it was just super-well mixed.) It was, at least a delight to look at. We'd come back and try more.

Nice place, lovely attentive staff. Great French fries, the beef burger tasted really clean and juicey, onion rings were average, and the wings were well seasoned but just a little too much salt. Mind you, I'm a salt lover, lol!!!

Went for a dinner and happy hour with a friend. My friend had gin & tonic while I had scotch. The atmosphere and vibe was super pleasing. Our hostess was super amazing and helped us get the table as the restaurant opened. For food we had a wide variety from Chicken Wings to Pepperoni Pizza platter. Since the place was so nice so we ended up ordering more food, one of the best highlights was the turkey burger. I usually substitute turkey with chicken but I am so glad I didn't because the turkey patty was the best and amazing. We had brownie with walnuts and ice cream was the nice way to sum up the evening.

This was back in June 2022. I love the food at Akasha and would come back here all the time if not for a couple of reasons. It's one of my favorite meals. The dinner I had included a couple of floral cocktails and a special menu ricotta toast. I was absolutely in love with the freshness and feel. Food is 5/5. I've also had other bakery items, cocktails, and brunch before. I always enjoy the food. The service leaves a little to be desired. First off, every time I come here whether it's at the beginning of a meal shift or in the middle, they never have the items I want. For brunch, a lot of times it's been main special food items. For dinner, it was both that and a cocktail. Which defeats the purpose for me. I like their food, especially the special menus. I get incredibly disappointed without that experience. And consistently, that is the outcome every time I go. On top of that, the staff tends to be very polite and respectful. But I'm often left feeling like I'm waiting a while for the dinner experience I didn't even want. I'm never sure why it takes longer than expected. At this price point and restaurant size, I expect reasonable food quantities on the special menus and attentive service, especially if out of stock. If those were addressed, I'd come back as often as possible. But for now, once every few months suffices to see how they change.
