Such a waste of real estate!!!! If you ONLY care about good location and you absolutely have no other choice, then I'd go with them. For the price we paid for a suite, we got a 50 yr old if not older dish / washer that we had to use everyday given the toddler's needs, amount of noise it made, we had to leave the unit when ever it was running (and wasn't a short run time!) . Argued and never got it looked at. Another incident, had to come back in the middle of the night to get into my room (although the same lady had checked me in to the room herself) she insisted it was "protocol" calling into the room and ended up waking up my son after 2 hours of drive I had to go around putting him to sleep. Very careless and unattentive front desk staff with zero management attention (as none of our emails to them got attention). Seems they ONLY care about short term transactional view and hope these reviews get people's attention so you at least take a second to check all your options before going with AKA!

African American guy at the reception was asleep when we walked in. He got startled when I greeted him and proceeded to be rude and give me attitude for no reason. Unacceptable!

Lovely hotel staffs. Every single person is so friendly and accommodating. I recommend you book the Premium rooms as they have been renovated with new appliances, fixtures, bathrooms. Zero issues the past month I have been staying here. Was moved to a regular two bedroom and den yesterday and have had minor problems that you usually find in an older place. Apart from that, best location, A+ for cleanliness and very comfortable beds!

It was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and the service was top notch. It’s clean, beds are comfortable, the staff is kind and helpful. The location is perfect with so many restaurants in the area and it’s attached to Spago so you can enjoy the best of the best. Thank you guys so much. I’ll be back!

I was visiting my friend at PH17 last night. I left my car with a valet around 10 pm and got it back at 12 am. By the time I got home I've realized that a fob that gives me access to my apartment building and my apartment is missing from the keychain which was obviously lost while the valet was attaching a ticket to my keychain (completely unnecessary). Every lockout in my building is $125 and the cost of a new key is $150. When I gave a call to AKA, the front desk manager didn't even know which valet man worked during that shift, which is already a red flag - how can you not know members of your stuff? After that, they promised to give me a call today which obviously never happened. I had to make my way to Beverly Hills again to talk to another front desk manager Yasmin (Jasmine?), who couldn't say anything besides the fact that some time in the near future they will look at the security cameras (which completely doesn't make sense because how can you see a small black key fob in the middle of the night?). Neither of the managers even bothered to pretend that they're trying to help nor I could get a reimbursement for a new key I had to get from my building. A very luxury and upscale enterprise :) Never coming back and please read the negative reviews about the rooms they're all true.

Actually I was very excited to stay at the AKA Beverly hills, but unfortunately I have to say that my stay was not pleasant. There were so many things that went wrong from the moment we checked in. I stayed at the two bedroom apartment with a den and this a summary of our experience: 1. The rooms sizes were good, but all windows are covered with a wooden blinders which do not block the sun light. So for those who would like to stay late in bed, it is impossible to continue your sleep. We had to order extra bedsheets to cover the windows. Unless the blinders are not changed with blackouts it would unappealing for me to stay again at this apartment. 2. A major flooding of the sink happened the moment we used the sink in one of the bathroom. We had to call the front desk and they sent us the maintenance woman to fix the flood which was an unpleasant experience that took time out if our schedule. 3. In the second night we decided to use the showers in the bathroom and there was no running hot water. We called the front desk and they offered to send the maintenance lady in the morning because no one is available at that time. Next morning the maintenance lady came and fixed the problem. 4. The walls of the apartment are so thin that it became so noisy for us with our upstairs neighbour. If the sun light did not wake you up in the morning, the upstairs neighbours will.

Talk about LUXE - from service to the rooms to the location - couldn't have picked a better spot to stay during my time in Los Angeles. From the second I was dropped off, I was in awe of the staff - they even remembered my name, across various shifts! As someone who works in a consumer led industry, there's something to that - means a lot. One of my least favorite parts of a hotel is that there's not enough room to actually 'live' but that is NOT the case at AKA. Not only do you get a full kitchen but living areas that aren't just your bedroom. This property is worth every penny, especially in a setting where there are quite a few 5 star hotels, you really get 5 star service at AKA.

Amazing location and beautiful property. The staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Rooms are spacious and well kept. I've also stayed at their West Hollywood and Philadelphia locations. Highly recommend AKA
