I absolutely love this place during or after a day on the mountain. I’ve ever only ordered the same thing off their menu, Waugh beef burger and truffle fries, but it’s an amazing meal and it hits the spot every time for me. They also have mulled wine in the winter and frozé drinks in the summer. 10/10 every time, does not disappoint on service or food or drinks, unless you’re just having a bad day.
This is one of my favorite spots in Aspen. I would start by recommending the cauliflower appetizer. Additionally the cheeseburger is the best burger in the whole valley (or ever) with truffle fries which are incredible. This is the place to bring your family and friends when they come to visit, or to pop in for apres ski. Great view of the mountain, located right at the base of the gondola. The kids Mac n cheese is also banger. Go here.
This place is right off the slopes, by the ski lift, so it has a great patio where you can watch the skiers. The food is great, although $19 for a cocktail is a bit steep (but hey, it's Aspen I guess). Worst part was the service. The staff was remarkably unfriendly and we didn't feel very welcome there, unfortunately. They were't outwardly rude, but they weren't talkative in any sense of the word. We left in a bit of a hurry partly because of that and partly because the heaters on the patio were so hot that we felt like we were in Phoenix.
Amazing view from the restaurant! I personally reckon that the outside table is much better than inside in summer so I do recommend outside table. There are bar tables outside as well but it seems very hot. Food was delicious but a little bit pricey. We ordered one fruit wine, beer, cauliflower and Bolognese then it went $100 including gratuities. Aspen is expensive!!
Some Aspen locals recommend Ajax Tavern for their burgers. I guess we asked the wrong people. The food was horrible and price was OUTRAGEOUS! One lousy cheeseburger split in half with side truffle fries came to $55 after tip and tax! Can you believe that?! I'd be more than happy to pay that price if it was a premium gourmet burger but their so-called Wagyu beef is nothing like Wagyu. It tastes and smells like the cheapest greasy patty at a burger kiosk selling for $5. Truffle fries were also too greasy and overcooked and almost inedible. Great place to ruin your night. So pissed.
The food here and service is fabulous. Highly recommend sitting at the bar when Zach is there. He makes the best off the menu drinks and provides immaculate first class service. Order Zach’s off menu mint grapefruit cocktail it’s amazing. He is a super talented mixologist. 100/10 hospitality. Thank you Zach!
Had lunch here a couple of times after long mornings of skiing or hiking. The restaurant is right at the base of the gondola and can't get any more convenient. They had tons of outdoor seating available, and the food was great. I had their pasta dish on both occasions and loved it.
Onion soup was great, service was good, environment was good. The truffle fries (which I added $8 extra for) were quite underwhelming, not much taste and over fried. Overall other foods were pretty good.
We'll - it's true! What a great bar and food - fun and brilliant bartenders too! We were looking for "Aspen's Best Hamburger" - I'm sure there are other good ones, but ones been rated #1, and we agree! Beautifully served and delicious - get the fries
Maroon Bells is a slice of heaven on Earth! The majestic views are nothing short of miraculous â a postcard-perfect panorama that makes you feel like you've stepped into a painting. The twin peaks mirrored in the crystal-clear Maroon Lake create a
It is truly a breathtaking experience in Aspen at 11200 ft with stunning views surrounded by beautiful mountains. I really enjoyed the ride and gondolas were comfortable.
What a beautiful park to visit. There's running river water, beautifully placed stones and rocks giving this park a Zen-like setting. I had the opportunity to visit on a Wednesday morning where the traffic was low and I was truly able to take in natu
The gant customer service is excellent, everyone made us feel welcome and were super friendly. We were always greeted with a smile, something much needed in these times. They help us take our luggage to the room, they held our luggage after checking

Located at the base of Aspen Highlands, right in front of the main lifts, Highlands Alehouse is our favorite spot to grab food and drinks for lunch or after a day of skiing. The food is great, the pub is nice inside, and the service at the bar is exc
Went driving to see the fall colors here in Colorado. Arrived in Aspen in late afternoon and was a fish out of water. Looking for something to eat that would not cost the same as a tank of gas for my jeep. Found this 6 it was truly a hole in the wall
My husband and I stayed for two nights in early September. We were very pleased with our accommodations. Room had obviously been recently remodeled. Due to ceiling fan we were very comfortable and never noticed the lack of air conditioning. Locati
When you think "COLORADO", this is it.Aspen is beautiful and this hotel is in a perfect location. It has the charm of a cottage, and you are extremely in the center of it all. Very clean, nice size rooms. Friendly staff.
