Ajanta India Restaurant - North Indian restaurant in Kettering - 3063 Woodman Dr, USA

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. I am not a huge fan of Indian cuisine, but a friend recommended the tandoori chicken, and it was delightful. It had pretty good flavor and didn't necessarily taste like curry (which was what I was worried about). My husband got the butter chicken, and he loved it! We also got the appetizer platter that gave us small samples of a few different appetizer options. The appetizers were pretty good, and I would recommend getting the plate where you can try multiple options. The atmosphere was elegant and clean and the menus were visible at the table, so they didn't have to hand any out to us. Our waiter was attentive and kind and answered the questions we had. The rice here is SO good, and the garlic naan bread paired really well with our dishes.

I always order the chicken Tikka masala and garlic naan from Ajanta, and it tastes amazing every time. The employees are always very friendly, and it has a nice vibe if you want to dine in. Love this restaurant, best Indian food in Dayton in my opinion.

We ordered lamb and goat biriyani. Taste was good. We ordered two biriyanis for dinner, and we were four guests. It was fair portion for us. If you are big eater, you might need 2 biriyani for 3 persons. I appreciate that they offer halal food. According to them,chicken, lamb, beef, goat - all are halal. Their staffs are also friendly and supportive.

This is the best Indian I have ever had in my entire life. The service was prompt and there was virtually no wait. I swear if you want authentic north Indian with a plethora of choices, please come here. We had the Vegetable Pakora, Garlic and Paneer Naan, Saag Paneer, and the Chicken Tikka Masala. I am stuffed and I only got the lunch size. I am in awe. The Chai is also fresh and has free refills?? I love this place. I’m only here on business and I would beg the staff to move to where I live.

The food was very good. You will not leave here disappointed. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala as I usually do, and the one I had here was the best. I recommend getting spice level four, my brother had 5 and it was more spice than flavor. I’m leaving a four star review because their dessert items are not nearly as delectable as the entrees.

THIS IS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD IN TOWN!!!!!! I have been coming here since I was practically born with family and the food every single time is just incredible. Unlike other Indian restaurants it’s not too oily and it’s a perfect mix of creamy, sweet, salty, and savory. The staff is ALWAYS incredibly kind. They never go lightly on meats which is incredible!!!! If it’s between here a another Indian restaurant (trust me, I’ve been to them all), Ajanta is a clear-cut choice. Also. If you are wanting to dine in, they have an actual dining area that is beautiful. I’ll be back!!!!!!
