Nice quiet 3/8 mi. walking trail despite the recent installation of a frisbee golf course. 😡 The recreation center has a fitness center, and basketball court. Outdoor facilities include a seasonal pool and spray park, baseball fields, playground, basketball court and tennis courts.
Nice little 9 hole disc golf course. There are three different difficulty tee box set ups. Good course for a time constrained round.
Actually a nice facility. The staff I met were very friendly. The only downside was a low quality sound system. It was difficult to understand everything. I'd give a 4.5 if I could.
I can't give many details as to the rec center located there, but what I can comment on is the newish disc golf course there. Great little technical course if you're looking to get 18 holes in 45 min or so. 9 baskets, 18 tees. Play blue first all the way around and then come back to yellow. The only issue I've seen is trash. Its everywhere. Was playing a round, when I teed off there was glass stuck to my shoe. I think its awesome the rec center let the local disc golf club put in those baskets! Just wish the city would do more to make it look more presentable.
My friend and I really did enjoyed ourselves we walked around the track twice maybe tomorrow we'll do four rounds we loved walking at Airport park it is so nice and clean not a lot of noise people are very friendly... In Jesus Name AMEN.
The recreation center is still closed due to Covid-19. And walking the trail was okay but alot of broken tree limbs and branches are everywhere. Could the city just tidy up the walking trail and blow the parking lot would be awesome... I Guess....
Nicely designed little park with trees and some natural beauty. Great play area, one part for younger children and another for older. There is also a pool that was not yet opened.
The Black History program was great; I really enjoyed everything. The speaker was outstanding, and the attendance was excellent. I look forward to attending next year.
