Amazing experience! Right on the beach and surrounded by local restaurants with delicious food, stores, and fun places to go. Front desk is nice and helpful. Rooms may need a little remodeling, but for 3 star hotel for the price is excellent deal. Easy access to the beach. Wonderful view from the window from the upper story. Definitely will come back another vacation. I need to be on the beach and I got it with this hotel.
The location is great for the proximity to the beach but too noisy to sleep.
We stayed one night in their largest room #1. It had 2 queen beds and a couch.
Right outside the huge glass window is a big parking spot for electric scooters. People were taking and returning scooters until late at night. Around midnight a service guy showed up and took 30 minutes to swap batteries and reset them one by one. It felt like he was in the room with us.
Bright lights outside shine through the blinds making the room lit throughout the night. Very bad sleep.
Aside from that the place felt safe and the staff were friendly.
Low price? There's no A/C, it's 77 degrees in the room, and there's a rave on the beach... No sleep for the weary travelers here. We're leaving to find a hotel after 9 pm. No refunds beginning 3 days before check in, so we just wasted over $500 on a place where we cannot sleep. No parking either. Good luck
Room was small but overall really nice and in a great location. Pretty inexpensive. I would stay here again. ||Out of the 3 hotels I stayed at during this trip, I would say this one is right in the middle. Not too great but not too bad. Right on the boardwalk which is great
Just what I was looking for. Location was perfect, right on the beach. Room wasn't fancy but was clean. I said 3 stars for the room as it definitely wasn't a 5 star room by any means but for what I was looking for, it was 5 stars because it was clean and it was right on the beach in Venice, in peak season for $150. Will definitely stay there again.
Loved the view from my "partial ocean view room", it was way better than I expected. Great value for money, room was clean, nice and spacious. Location was a 10/10. Lovely shops all around and busses just up the street, and a beautiful beach walk at sunset right at your doorstep!
Coffee and machine included, only thing I wish it had was mini milks for the coffee.
Good location but TERRIBLE noise at night. The hotel doesn't even had A/C.
I booked for 4 nights but due to personal reasons I needed to check out one day before. Also, I didn't feel comfortable staying here because of noise at night.
When I spoke with Booking (they charged me for the reservation), they said that if the hotel was okay with this, that night could be refunded by them, in spite of the non-cancelation policy.
The hotel refused to do this by saying that ''I was focused on my own needs and preferences, without considering the business, and that room was already held for me.''
LA is full of people and tourists at the moment, so I'm sure that room can find a guest for the last night. And if that didn't happen, I'm pretty sure any hate in the world would prefer taking care of the customers, and not answering that I need to understand the situation from a business perspective.
ANY business in the world would prefer to make an exception if their priority is wanting customers to feel confortable and happy. This was obviously not the case.
I totally wasted my money on this place.
The bad reviews made us nervous but honestly they are incorrect and we will go back 100% My husband and I are just in our 40’s so the only thing we have to complain about is that the boardwalk shuts down at 10 pm max, we enjoy the nightlife so we were shocked it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop coming back from downtown.
The noise complaints are the people above you moving around in the morning, but if you’re on vacation why are you sleeping in. No afternoon napping that’s for sure but why would you lol AC not required on the ocean side, we had a huge fan, kept the curtains closed during the day and at night it was cool and a beautiful breeze came through the windows and you can still listen to the waves.
We got stuck for another 5 days due to the WestJet strike but made the best of it, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and free laundry products for paid laundry room on the main floor which was a game changer. Josh and Alex…….fantastic!!!!!!
Biggest complaints we heard at the desk in passing is that parking is not on site but it wasn’t far by all means.
