I recently discovered the best coffee place and it has been a highlight of my life. The customer service is simply amazing. always greeting with a smile. The owners are also very generous, asking if I would like some extra shot of coffee or anything else. I cannot recommend this place enough - it's simply amazing. I have already told everyone about it and I can't wait to go back and enjoy it again. Thank you so much to the staff for making my experience so wonderful.

Ahadu Coffee was one of the best coffee shop experiences I've had in a long time. The ambiance was welcoming without being awkward, and the coffee was excellent. I was impressed with the number of coffee options they have (drip, pour over, chemex, French press, and siphon brew), along with the hot and cold options on the menu. They roast on site, which adds a lot of depth to the coffee profiles they offer. To start today, I had the drip coffee, which is my baseline for evaluating a coffee shop. Today's coffee was a Cuji, which was clearly recently roasted and excellent. My friend had the Ahadu Special, which was a creamy coffee drink with chocolate and spice overtones. It seems like there is a lot to explore here, and overall, I was impressed. I'll definitely be back!

Expertly brewed, it offers a perfect balance of flavors that awaken the senses. The Ham and Pesto Crepe was equally exceptional—light, flavorful, and filled with quality ingredients that melded together in a delicious harmony. Service-wise, things were a little on the slow side, but the staff more than made up for it with their friendly demeanor and genuine care for your dining experience. They truly wanted to ensure you enjoyed your order, which added a personal touch that's hard to find these days. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make it a point to visit Ahadu Coffee. Your taste buds will thank you.

Came to Independence to visit family last weekend, and they took us to Ahadu. Such a warm and inviting coffee shop. The savory crepes were to die for! The Ahadu special coffee was the best uniquely spiced coffee I’ve ever had! But what made it perfect was the owners joy in serving every single customer that came through those doors. Can’t wait til we’re in town again because we will definitely be back!

My husband and I just stopped here to try the coffee and we were NOT disappointed! The owner was very nice and explained his coffee options to us and how they roast their own beans. A great non-chain coffee option in Lee's Summit!

We finally made time to come back here and have crepes. First, the coffee is great. I had a brown sugar and cinnamon latte. The flavors were spot on! For breakfast, I had the ham and egg crepes. She had the lemon and sugar crepes. Both were delicious!! Supporting local businesses is where I put my money. Places like Ahadu are gems and should be posted about. We deserve better than corporate, overpriced, sugar coffee. Just my opinion!

Ahadu is my new go to coffee spot. I love the friendliness of the staff. You definitely feel welcomed the moment you walk in. I usually order coffee, which is excellent. I went with the chai latte today—the best I’ve ever had. It’s made in house with amazing spices added to it. I haven’t had a crepe yet, but they look delicious!

This is tucked away, across the street from Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lees Summit and the atmosphere is friendly, warm and inviting. Far superior in bean roast quality and various mixes than any national chain. Crepes are fantastic and when you go, try their Ahadu Special coffee 16 oz! You will be amazed!!!
