Agua Verde Cafe - Restaurant in Seattle - 1303 NE Boat St, USA

The was great. It was my first time there. You order first, then you go to your table and they bring your food and drinks. We had a view of the Mountlake cut and some ducks and boats. It was a mostly quiet atmosphere. I had the Pollo burrito, and my wife had the butternut squash enchilada. She says it was really, really good.

I know Mexican food is not Seattle's strong suit but this one was so disappointing because the location is one I definitely want to go back to. The service and location were wonderful, but this is a restaurant so I have to judge on the food. The elote was almost entirely mayo, so much that I had to scrape some off, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to taste the corn. I also tried the enchiladas which had a confusing cheese sauce and dry flavorless rice on the side. The fish tacos were decent, especially after adding salsa from their salsa bar. We got a table on the patio where the views of the water were immaculate. This is a place I would come back to but only to take a friend from out-of-town and only to have chips and salsa. There's a parking lot across the street. It was full when I went but I was able to find street parking not too far away.

First time visiting with my family of 5. You have to order and pay before you sit. Which is odd, no military discount, and each plate is 18$ and drinks 13$. You sit yourself, and I had to leave my food and ask for silverware and straws. Chips and salsa is self serve. The food was a bit spicy and rushed. Chicken was a bit chewy. The presentation was pretty, and the view was gorgeous. No kids options!

As a Mexican I aprove this place 😁 It does taste pretty similar to what I eat back home, not the real deal but approved for a Mexican mix restaurant. Their salsas are really good an I would highly recommend their guacamole. It's the perfect place to go on a sunny day.

The vibe on the outside deck is great, dogs are welcome on the patio ! And the place has the best Elote I’ve had, the food becomes punchier if you help yourself to the salsa from self serve salsa counter so you can balance it according to your palate -Esp. If you have kids with you. Must visit for the patio views of the bay, hot food , generous serving size and cocktails

What a special restaurant. Casual but darn, is it good! Authentic and quirky right on the water. A stones throw from campus - UW - Seattle. It just smells great, and the food will be more than average. In fact its way above average!

Delicious, with enough to take home. Rockfish tacos were very tasty. Beef bowl was excellent.

I would have giving a 5 star but the service specifically at the cashier counter was hella slow. We waited for the better part of 5 minutes at the counter and know one welcomed us in or even acknowledged we were standing there. But I can say the food was really good and the waiting staff were cool.
