Agora was wonderful. Recently reopened in October after a renovation. We sat at the bar for a quick lunch. Josh was our server and called us by our names multiple times. This was my first time, but won't be my last. I had the lamb gyro plate(not puctured) which was perfect. The garlic potatoes were perfection. Seating is also available upstairs but we didn't see the area. We could definitely hear it was hopping up there. Can't wait to visit again.
I checked out this new Mediterranean restaurant and was not disappointed! Everything we had was delicious, customer service was on point and the cocktails were tasty. This is a cute, intimate place to meet up with friends or try for a new date night out. They have brunch $28 PP on Saturday and Sunday and Happy Hour coming soon! Street parking is available. Check out what I had and try them out.
First time coming back after the renovation and the space is beautiful! Really cosy and inviting atmosphere, and the updated menu has lots of interesting options. I came for brunch and enjoyed the Turkish breakfast with Turkish coffee. Lots of variety with delicious cheeses, jams, olives, and bread, along with a selection of egg dishes. So nice to have a new and different brunch spot in Midtown, and I'm excited to try their lunch and dinner menus!
TL;DR - nice new space but at the cost of higher prices, and very disappointing portions. Kebab dish used to come with twice as much food and a salad on the side. New lamb kebab was $24, no salad, 5 small pieces of lamb. VERY disappointing. Might as well go to Rumi's for better food, bigger portions and a similar price now. Attaching photos of the old portion and the new (and more expensive) portions. My wife and I have been eating here for years. When they closed for a year and expanded to take over the space next to them, we were SO excited for the reopening. The space is completely redone and very nice on the inside, but they've compromised the identity we all loved in the process. The food is still very good, but the portions are much smaller and the prices are significantly more expensive. In the amount of time I waited on my pickup order I watched multiple people walk in excited to try the new version of their old favorite take out spot. Two of them walked out without ordering in a 15 minute window. Your new upholstery and decor is nice, but your increased prices and decreased portions are a big disappointment to people who have eaten here for the better part of a decade.
Best Brunch spot in Midtown! The ambience is so cozy and chill. They have a Turkish chef and the food was just phenomenal! I got the potato and eggs and nothing prepared me for how good it will be! It came with a side of fresh pita bread! Staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Definitely one of my top spots in Midtown.
A Taste of Turkey in the Heart of the City! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Agora Midtown, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that transported me straight to the streets of Istanbul. Let's start with the food - oh my, what a treat! Cafe Agora Midtown offers an extensive menu of authentic Turkish dishes for both breakfast and dinner. Whether you're a fan of savory or sweet, there's something to satisfy every palate. The breakfast options are a true standout, with a wide variety of delicious pastries, cheeses, olives, and traditional Turkish breakfast spreads. I highly recommend trying the Menemen - a mouthwatering dish made with scrambled eggs, tomatoes, peppers, and spices. It's a breakfast experience like no other! For dinner, the menu continues to impress. The kebabs are a must-try, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The lamb kebab was particularly tender and flavorful, while the chicken kebab was juicy and succulent. The vegetarian options are equally delightful, with dishes like the Imam Bayildi, a stuffed eggplant that is rich in flavor and melts in your mouth. And of course, no Turkish meal is complete without a cup of strong Turkish coffee or a sip of fragrant Turkish tea - both of which Cafe Agora Midtown serves to perfection. The service at Cafe Agora Midtown is top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions you may have. They truly make you feel like a valued guest, going above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance of the restaurant is another highlight. The decor is tastefully done, with a mix of traditional Turkish elements and modern touches. The soft lighting and comfortable seating create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Overall, Cafe Agora Midtown is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is delightful. Whether you're a fan of Turkish cuisine or looking to try something new, this place is an absolute must-visit. I guarantee you'll leave with a satisfied palate and a desire to come back for more. Five stars all the way!
The new and improved Agora is back and better than ever and back to being my go to spot for a fresh healthy meal. I have tried the new brunch and dinner menu here this week and the food, service and cocktails are amazing. So excited to be back :)
I got the rack of lamb chops. I was very nervous to eat it at first with my past experiences but it was very well seasoned and cooked just how I like it. Try the baklava and ice cream too! It’s delicious. The service, drinks, and quality was amazing!
Super flavorful and delicious food! We really enjoyed our first visit to Kitty Dare. The service was great and the ambience was fun and cozy. We had the Burrata and Dip trio to start, and the Gnocchi and Buccatini with Shrimp as our entrees. I loved
I try to eat totally 'clean' two out of three meals a day, so I was excited when a Sweetgreen opened around the corner from my house. I was disappointed when I actually ate there; the greens were more sad than sweet. But then I stumbled upon Cava r
I highly recommend Mandolin kitchen if youâre looking for a great vibe and great food. I ordered the shish kebab (cooked medium well), with orzo rice & a salad. The meal was delicious. I was very impressed with the food. The beef was flavorful, j
Man I hesitate to share this. Anatolia has some of the best wings ATL has to offer. The wings are nicely sized and the Garlic Parmesan with the undertones of whatever Greek-type seasoning that is used creates a flavor that I enjoy. Great atmosphere
Nice atmosphere with both inside and outside dining. And The food is amazing! My favorites are the mouthwatering flavorful Lentil soup and the Salmon Wrap! Come check them out!
I was craving a burger and fries today and did a quick Google search and stumbled upon Jimmy Jamâs page and noticed he had a 5.0 rating with raving reviews so of course we hopped in the car and made that 50 min drive to patronize! This brother is r
