I've trained at different gyms in the area, and traveled for work for 4 years dropping into gyms here and there all over the country. I found Agoge through friends I knew who competed against Agoge members in tournaments. I was incredibly impressed by word of mouth and the technique taught at Agoge. I decided to give it a visit, and not only was the instruction incredible, but the instructors and members were truly the most welcoming and awesome group I've had the pleasure of training with. Joining Agoge has been one of the best decision I have ever made, it's not just a martial arts school, it's a community and a family of incredibly helpful people. I am beyond grateful for Agoge Combatives.

Started my journey at 39. A guy I used to work with was one of the regional fighters and between him and another guy they got me to come try it out. I was mainly worried about the ego of people that would be there. Man, I was way off! When you walk into the place you can tell they take pride in their facilities! The place is immaculate! The classes are very well structured. Met the instructor and he was super nice and helpful. My 9yo daughter started 2 weeks after I did. The older kids were so kind and helpful to her! Such a great place to have your kids! They were all super helpful and respectful. She is super shy so I was kinda worried she wouldn’t like it, she was hooked! My wife got into it as well and she loves it! There is an all women’s bjj class and I think that is an amazing option for the women that do t feel comfortable training with men. All in all, this place has been my home for a year now and I really couldn’t imagine training anywhere else. The people and culture is what makes this place stand out! Not to mention we have a UFC fighter here! So if you’re thinking about starting or looking for a place to switch to, come check us out!! #agogestrong

We love Agoge!! They have amazing coaches who aren’t just there to be somewhere. They are patient with the kids and make class fun. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a safe, professional, friendly gym.

Dropped in for a visit while in town. Went to Tuesday gi class, great instruction and very high level students. Everyone was friendly and the facility was awesome.

As a middle aged, out of shape guy looking to get into BJJ for fun and exercise, I was nervous about coming to a MMA style gym. However, upon recommendation from a couple friends I decided to give it a shot. I am so happy I did! Everyone at Agoge is very welcoming, friendly and eager to help you out. The instructors are top notch and are awesome teachers, as well as being great people! I was worried about what I was walking into as there are some pretty toxic gyms out there with guys that just want to crush you, but the culture at Agoge is amazing! I have made many good friends there and I have never felt unsafe. On the flip side, if you're someone that wants to train hard for MMA, look no further. Some of the most talented fighters in the region come out of this gym and they can definitely help you level up your game! I liked it so much that I enrolled my son in the children's class and he is loving it as well. If you can't tell, I love this gym and everyone there! If you're looking for a place to train, don't hesitate to come try it out!

As a practitioner of 14+ years, I can tell you: The BJJ here is solid and more importantly, their implementation is on point. This is a group that knows how to train and will inevitably elevate your Jiu-jitsu. I will definitely be dropping in again!
